After clocking 7K kilometres the brake oil colour changed and I had to flush the rear brake oil. In this I would show the entire process.
Please note: Only use the recommended type of Oil. In my case its DOT-4 oil.
Please use only a fresh set of oil do not use old un-used oil.

Thank you. I'm in British Columbia, Canada, and my rear brake went through stages of being soft and spongy and then failing completely. I followed your step by step instructions, and the rear brake works just great, also the job created minimal mess by using the zip ties you recommended, virtually no clean up. Thank you.

Good information on this video. A couple of helpful tips, use 5mm internal diameter clear tube, any hardware store should stock it, use an 8mm ring spanner on the bleeder nipple and ensure you have enough movement to clear the muffler (about 50mm), the ring spanner will hold in place without having to be held by hand. The master cylinder reservoir screw is a 4mm hex head. If you are just bleeding spongy brakes, not replacing all the fluids, ensure the master cylinder is topped up at the "MIN" mark.

To see air bubbles always use transparent tube to drain oil.

What you are using is open end spanner , what you are asking is to use ring spanner not round spanner... and which is safe to use too.

@passionate biker - get a phone gimble and a tripod stand for more stabilized shots and for some videos write a script or plan ahead. Overall great content for RE fanboys

Hi, good video. Quick doubt, I was cleaning my GT and I squeezed the outer rubber seal of the rear break master cylinder. Some brake fluid dripped out of the rubber cover. Is this expected?

Mate that brake lever is set too low that must be dangerous to ride
