Interceptor 650 Touring Review 

Magnetic tank bags don't cause an issue anymore. Plenty of people I know and I myself have been using on all our rides with no trouble. Stock seats are not really supportive, so it's mostly recommended to get a touring seat or customise one according to your needs.

I have a 2021 stock standard interceptor. I love it. No grumbles!

I have brought this machine but in barcelona blue colour and accessorised it and recently rode 713 km non stop which took me arround 19 hr.... Ofcourse with breaks in between for lunch and all... Though i had upgraded the seat and also added extra cushions in handle bars also... But yes wow man what a machine♥️

Love your content, love your passion for the motorcycles and not just seeing them as products to be reviewed….I myself do comfortable tours of 600-700km a day on my interceptor and agree with everything u said in the review. Wud definitely change the seat, tyres and headlight soon. I was also wondering if i cud get your opinion in deciding between a used 2018 Street Triple RS or a new 2023 Street Triple R considering the new updates.

What about the engine heating. Is it a problem in traffic or on the high passes in mountains

I have toured for 2300 KM in 8 days on this. Just get the Zana saddle stays, RE Touring seat and you are good to go.

Body posture: You seem to sit upright comfortably with stock handlebar with no bar risers. But for most people including me the handlebar bar is a very far reach. I almost have to sit very close to the tank to grab the bar. Do you have long arms? Whats the trick? Tilting the bar towards me didnt help much.

Tank range of 350-450? My last bar starts blinking at about 210kms on a brim fill. Id be stoked to know it would run an additional 140 kms on the blinking bar. Or is it just me?

Can probable give an honest feedback being an owner myself of an interceptor… just got back from a bike trip from bangalore to goa and back…few mods that i did… sahara seats.. handlebar raiser … plus the cycling shorts with pads.. you can do 800 in a day easily…

Hi Strell, need your opinion on my dilemma. I currently own Reborn Classic and a Hayabusa. After buying Busa last year, somehow I am feeling Reborn Classic way too boring. I want to replace Classic with something exciting. Classic does dual duty of city rides and occasional weekend rides to nearby villages for solitude. Sometimes wife accompanies me and she finds Classic conformable. I've shortlisted Interceptor (New) and Street Twin (Used). The budget is 4 to 4.5 lacs. Though, Interceptor looks no brainer, I am do not find it special and feel that I may outgrow it quickly. I am not sure about pillion comfort too. While Street Twin gives Badge satisfaction, I am not sure whether buying 6-7 year old Truimph will be a good idea. I plan to keep bike for 5 to 7 year and won't be changing it quickly. Your insights will be helpful.

what is the highway mileage

Even though it's the reasonable price for a twin cylinder engine with that sweet rumble, the ergonomics makes u think again.. It's the same scenario with interceptor, gt and super meteor.. Each motorcycle is kind of unique and appeals to a specific set of people.. But would like to know😅 which one will u buy among the three... A question related from the buyers perspective what will you suggest someone who is planning to buy or rather confused between the Duke 390 and interceptor 650 , I know they are totally different from each other but the point is that which is more value for money the 650 or 390 considering the bike as for daily riding which will be more easy on me (as a new rider)

Too much painful for pillion in particular due to positioning of pillion foot pegs above dual exhaust. Really hurtful for person above 5'7

I have a 2021 interceptor. How different is it in terms of touring? I’ve fitted a riser and visor from carbon racing and have a better seat installed. Have ridden 500 kms in a day.. is there any improvement in the new model?

When you live in a country with a 50 mph speed limit..

The bike wobbles above 120kmph.. The braking is pathetic at anything above 100!.. It is scary actually.. That chassis incapable of ferrying 218kgs & adding on is skinny pathetic tyres for the power!.. It is an antique machine which is safe to ride under 100kmph due to its chassis, suspension, brakes & tyres..
