Interesting Drugstore Products - Tried and Tested: EP42 

I've been binge watching all of these tried and tested videos, and I ABSOLUTELY love them! Shu An seems like such an awesome person! I love her personality. Plus, her tests and reviews are very thorough and well executed. I only wish I could get more of the things she tries out in the states! Subscribed just for these videos. Lol

You could use a makeup sponge to apply glittery or fuzzy nail polish easier. Just do one coat then while it's still wet put some nailpolish on the sponge and sponge it on until it's as dense as you want

Your supposed to put a color underneath the fuzzy coat. It's is a topcoat. I own it and it works very well!👍

The NYX soft matte lip cream actually stays longer than most drugstore lip products I use! Should've at least tested it

I wish Shu An would try out the products on her own for a week then demo it on camera for us. Sometimes you need time to figure out how to use it or how it wears throughout the day.

I have the exact same NYX soft matte lip cream, and honestly it stays on well for me all day even after eating and drinking! :)

you should do a video on the products that you have reviewed that you actually still use

with the transfer nail stuff... you can do that with just rubbing alcohol. make sure your nail is dry and the put the item on top of your nail (nothing on the printed side) and then you lightly add rubbing alcohol, hold and slowly peel

There is a Mary Kay eyeliner that is fantastic. I used it for fall formal which was from 7-11 and i rubbed and sweated all night long and it did not come off you should try it

The NYX lip creams are definitely easy to apply and pigmented but because they dry matte , it's wiser to balm the lips before makeup or do a lip scrub if you have dry lips .

Don't layer the fuzzy coat ( or any glitter polish) use a makeup sponge. Brush the Polish on the sponge and it will soak up the extra jelly.

no dont pack on the color do one thin coat of the polish the let it dry then use a latex free makeup sponge and put the fuzzy coat on the sponge and wait 12 seconds then put the area the fuzzy coat is on on your nails the opacity will build faster without having so much polish on your nails what is happening is the jelly or clear polosh is being absorbed by the makeup sponge leaving the fuzzy thing on top credits to simplynailogical for thos hack

Agree with some of the comments - Do a perfume (and also cologne) series! What are some brands you can recommend that aren't super costly? And do they last?

You can actually just use rubbing alcohol or water and soak a piece of newspaper or something you printed out and soak it into the rubbing alcohol or water for like, 30-45 secs and it should transfer.

On the fuzzy coat nail polish you should shake the bottle before applying it and it looks nicer when you apply a nail polish with color that goes well with the fuzzy coat on your nail before applying the fuzzy coat.

the NYX matte lip cream is prolly THE best invention.... ever. yes, i agree in the part where it feels like u have powder on ur lips.. but! i beg to differ abt the long lasting part cause ut does! u need to put it on for a longer time then u did on ur show.. i can continue drinking water from a bottle or kiss my boyf on the cheek yet there will be no stain at all!!!

For the fuzzy coat apply the polish onto a makeup sponge, the sponge will absorb the clear polish and leave behind the "fuzziness"

if you want an eyeliner that doesn't smudge, try wet n wild waterproof eyeliner, it's somewhat hard to apply you need to get used to it because it dries quite quickly but it doesn't smudge at all.

The Kat Von D Tattoo Liner is really nice. I didnt get any smudging. Its a brush type pen.

If you wanna use the soft matte lip thingi.. and you feel like what Shu An said. The helper would be using any baby lips from maybeline that has the same colour as your own lips.

For the fuzzy coat, I have it I put a color under it and then paint that it looks a lot better

ultra liner by maybelline waterproof, its definitely an all day eyeliner. i work from 8am-11pm and my eyeliner says constant all day.

For anyone wondering about the nail transfer thing, You can achieve the same effect by dipping the paper in 90% proof rubbing alcohol and follow the same method. For those of you who can't get your hands on rubbing alcohol, you can also use 40-50% proof Vodka and follow the same procedure. Be warned, that the print from the Vodka wont be as vibrant as from the rubbing alcohol.

It's called fuzzy COAT. It's I not supposed to be used by itself, more with a nail polish underneath

The best eyeliner for me is liquied eyeliner by silky girl... it doesnt smudge, it's waterproof and it stays for a long period of time. does Singapore has the silky girl brand? Im from Malaysia btw.

U want smudgeproof lines, try this tip i usually do, Finish n set face makeup (primer, foundation, powder, etc) Line the eyes with waterproof pencil eyeliner and let it dry. Line the same lines with waterproof liquid eyeliner and let it dry. After this u can finish with mascara on ur lashes. (Optional)

If she applied the fuzzy nail polish with a sponge, it would have been better because the sponge absorbs the clear bit of the polish, so then only the fuzzies would transfer to the nail

The fuzzy coat goes on top of your nail polish just like the crackle one.... Its not meant to be used on a "naked" nail.

for the fuzzy coat i think if u want more follow Christine's (simplynailogical) technique which is put the polish on a sponge to (serap) all the jelly and it leaves the fuzzy only. aiyah just search ah
