I agree on both counts. She seems very dedicated as a mother to Barron and her mother helped her tremendously with that role. Her mother will be missed greatly by both her daughter and her grandson. Karen McDougal in her CNN interview with Anderson Cooper stated that Trump gave her a tour of his NYC Penthouse at Trump Tower and during the tour Trump pointed out Melania had her own separate bedroom, almost two decades ago now!

The separation meant that children and parents were literally separated, not put in different buildings! It took years to reunite them and in some cases they were totally lost and never found each other.
