A child can not consent that's why in islam a who doesn't have Muslim are still considered pure and innocent without faults because they don't have their own autonomy and Free Will and don't inherit their parents sins like Christianity say and they if a child is not baptised. This was 1400 years ago where the Qur'an is talking about Women's: 1)Gving consent to who they marry. 2) Evaluating the couples maturity and readiness for marriage. 3) the man providing the woman a right to her own home 4) inheriting from her husband 5) Right to divorce if she's not satisfied within the marriage 6) Right to her own money But the husband has to cover ALL of her the necessary needs. At the same time Christians Arabs and Jews were burying their daughters alive. When the Christian world didn't even consider women as humans! Anyways, . The Qur'an always overrides the Hadiths. That's why everything in the Qur'an is called compulsory. And the Hadiths are optional & considered weak IF it is contradictory to the Qur'an. Furthermore, As the Iman stated "The children are not at fault (pure and innocent unlike Christianity children in islam do not inherit their parents sins) And the parents have to take responsibility for their children regardless of how they were conceived. The bible is full of child marriages and still happens in orthodox Christians and Jews communities because it's not cultural but it's justified and legitimised in the bible and Torah and the Talmud where ASing 9yrs boys are excused, where ASing 3yrs old girls are allowed.
