Best H & H tour e v e r !!! Because of her voice and diction. She is talking "to you" and by her sitting you feel welcome touring her home. So many really nice touches of this tour; no loud & repetitive music and no quick/nano second shots or jerky spans. The home is lovely due to colour & caring. It's a memorable house. I will share this tour. Thank you madam. 🤗

I love your house...it really speaks to my soul. I am a color kook, too, so that helps. I love that you let your children have a room that makes them happy. I've been noticing a few of these bloggers that have very neutral homes have said "NO" to colors their children wanted in their rooms. I feel sad for those kids!

The daughter's comment is quite insightful, along with the designer's response. The wisdom I get here is that smaller, open-plan stye homes create an ongoing sense of connection with others in the family, whereas a traditional large house creates separation. It's a beautiful and uplifting space, which a lovely balance of neutrals and color.

So cheerful and cute. My fav way to use color is incorporating the full spectrum, rainbow, splashed around over a neutral palette with a lot of white.

I'd have to say the TV was NOT in the ultimate position, but I really didn't want it hanging over the fireplace. You could see it though, from the sofa and that's where I sat when I was watching anything.

She is my type of decorator. "...the house isn't meant to look good, it has to mean something..." This is why my newly purchased home is still not completed after a year. I have to have my life on display, my grandchildren, my children, etc. I too love, love, love colors! I am taking my time little by little to get the house to look and feel they way I want it to.

The map wallpaper is woefully inaccurate. It's a map North Americans love, because it makes our continent look much larger in comparison to others. Also, 2300 sq. ft. is not a small home for four people. It is just not ostentatiously large.

Then you don't know many, if any, U.S. citizens. Almost all schools in the U.S. use the Mercator projection map, which makes North America and Europe look significantly larger than they truly are in comparison to Africa and South America.
