There's lime which is added to high clayey soils. But cement is still added as it gives ISSBs their strength.

What is the mixture that is decent to use to make ISSB, I have seen from 8 wheelbarrows to a bag of cement to even 5 wheelbarrows to a bag of cement. The question is does it really matter if you use 8 or 5 to a 50kg bag of cement.

It depends on the type of soil. A typical ratio is 1 bag of cement to 6 wheelbarrows of soil.
