Dan is THE MAN!!! I have this tutorial saved in my notes on my phone. So many tutorials go so fast you can’t keep up. This one is paced well and easy to follow along. Bravo Dan!!! You should own the company by now⚡️
Dan, you are my absolute hero!!! Thank you. I have used this many times cause I forget how to do it and your instruction is SO clear and evenly paced and helpful. Everything makes sense and everything works. Perfect. Thank you!
This is an outstanding video tutorial. I thought I had set everything up perfectly, and I was dumbfounded when I saw that the first scheduled event had failed. Thanks to your video, I now know that closing the timer door can toggle the on off switch, and that's what I accidentally did. Thanks so much!
I agree with Jessica. For months and months I could not figure this out and after watching your video I completed everything I wanted to do. Thank you so much!!!
Amazing instructions. Everything was perfect. The timing, everything you said was exactly what I saw on my screen. Thank you!!!! Keep up the amazing work. Greatly appreciate it.
Great video! My wife's father passed away a year ago and we inherited his house which had an Intermatic switch like in this video. It needed to be reset but we had no manual but this video made it easy! Thanks so much for your assistance!
Nice video! Do as another poster mentions. Plug in the battery first, and program it at your desk BEFORE you put it in the wall, you can watch this video step by step. Thanks for posting!
Thank goodness for this video. I use it at least twice a year since it's dark early in the winter, and then later in the summer. There are so many steps and it can be confusing without the video. I do wish it were more user friendly without the video.
Dan amazing thank you so much - I worked on this for an hour and kept hitting a button (on off or mode) always at the wrong sequence and the damn thing would go to some other settings. Your video enabled me to make a chart and take it to the wall and get this thing set for hours days etc. Thank you so much!
Remind your readers this is battery operated not 100v so when your switch stops working it is likely a C-2 battery replacement necessary (the bottom interior battery cover) Mine lasted about 5 years
So I'm using this exact timer at work for use in the company spa for running the jets. In accordance to state law, they can only run for 15 minute time intervals. Is there a way to set it so when the button is manually pushed, the jets can be programed to turn off after 15 minutes until the button is pushed again?
Can you press mode at the end to set it to Manual Mode when you don't need the timer to work for a few days or do you need to clear out the entire timer?
Question: Just removed an outdoor light and installed a Security Camera that needs to be on 24/7. Without removing the ST01 timer...what's the best way to make sure it's now on 24/7? Should I reset the timer first...or just hit the On/Off button?
This is no the timer I have but I'm assuming that the concept would be similar. I programmed my timer to go on and off. All the days of the week were showing. It seems as though the program only works on Monday. Can you tell me what I'm dong wrong?
I have motion detection lights outside which I want to power up at night and shut down in the morning. I'm following the videos and instructions but still can't figure it out.
Thank you! The manual does NOT make it clear that you are setting an ON or an OFF "EVENT". I was trying to set "program 01" to turn ON at dusk and then also set "program 01" OFF at dawn. So, it only retained my last OFF setting and would never turn on.
Do I need to reset to just keep on 24/7 I am a renter and I need my security cameras on 24 hours a day does anyone know these lights turn on and off all day long
I have had my timer for a few years, but a few days ago, nothing will click. I cannot get the on/off button to go on and off. I tried resetting it and changing the battery, but nothing works. What can I do to get it to work again?
Still a little confused. When setting up On & Off events (hour/minutes) in MAN, for ALL (days of the week while I'm away), do I have to be physically present to press the switch ON each day? (I assume the light would turn off at the pre-'programmed' hour.)
I just moved in and I guess this is an older unit. It buttons left to right Top row: Mode :Next/on/off:Reset Bottom row Day/Dst: Hour/Year: M+zone Year Help
I found that I didn’t need to do a reset. I just selected all my modes, time, date, year, etc. and dst , central since I’m in commiefornia , then dusk and dawn times and on off times .
Does anyone know what's wrong if your programming is all fine, but your lights suddenly stop functioning? Even when I manually press the on/off, my lights aren't turning on. Both bulbs are fine.
@@genetygielski5362 Thank you. I reset the programming after writing this comment a month ago and the issue resolved. But the lights randomly didn't go on as programmed again a few days ago, and I noticed a "low battery" error on the module screen. Changed the battery to a new one and now everything is good. TY for the help.
