This video is great. It would be helpful to have a demo on how to program sunset to sunup specific to the EJ600. The video made 6 years ago is very confusing and may have some missing information.

How do I know which model I have? Looks like either the Ej500 or 600 - bought house recently and since fall the exterior perimeter lighting won’t come on?

I have the EJ500. I just put in new batteries. Before the batteries died it was programmed to only automatically turn on a light at the end of my driveway. The porch lights did not automatically come on when the light at the end of the driveway came on, and we could turn the porch lights on/off and the driveway light would stay on until the programmed off time. After I followed the instructions in this video now only the porch lights automatically come on/off and the light at the end of the driveway does not come on at all. Tried changing that lightbulb but it still would not come on.

Thank you for this info! I did need to replace the batteries and then reset again. Now my lights are very dim. They don’t get any darker through the night. What do I need to do? Thank you for your help!

Hi Dear. Thanks for this helpful video. I have a question regarding "Lobat" display. I know those means that is time for a new batteries. I replaced the batteries for the right number (357/303) but the brand wasn't Energizer, those where Duracel. The situation is this: the screen still showing "Lobat". I checked the battery voltage and it's OK. Do you think that the problem is the beand? Waiting for help. Thank you.

Ok, I already have 3 of your EJ500's that I bought off of Amazon...nowhere on the Amazon was there a mention about not using it for compact Flourescents and two of them control CFL's. My question is, is there anyway to get rid of the constant flickering of the CFL's while they are in OFF mode (that's the only issue I see/hv with the CFL's)? Also, which item similar to the EJ500 do you have that does work good with CFL's AND Does the EJ500 work well with LEDs? Thx, Curtis
2 quick questions, My switch is positioned in the middle not the far right. Does that matter? Also when I programmed it there was no small d displaying in the corner, does this matter. I’ve noticed my lights stay slightly dimmed on during the non-timer hours.

I have a really old one that is in a home I just purchased. We can not figure it out and none of your videos has the model we have. It shows no0P I set the time and programmed it but the lights still don’t turn off.
Hi, Angelica! Thank you for contacting us. It sounds like you may have one of the old SS series timers, which was discontinued several years ago. You may be able to change the battery and reset it, but there's no guarantee it will work. If you do decide to change the battery, be sure to check the contacts to make sure they are clean. Depending on what it was used for, we have many other options that may meet your needs. I was attempting to set the timer and the display went off... I tried holding the reset button but it remained off and the light is not coming on with the press now

Is there any way to use the ST01 as just a timer or does it always have to be relative to the time of day? For instance can the lights be switched on with the push of the button at anytime and then turn off through programming after two hours have elapsed?
Yes, the ST01 is intended to be programmed for specific days and times. Our model EI400WC may be better suited for your needs; it's a countdown timer and doesn't need to be programmed relative to the time of day. If your timer is randomly turning off it would be advisable to change the year of your unit. The default year is 2003 and it doesnt work correctly on that. Set the year to 2020 and you should be fine. The date doesn't matter. You can thank me later. Peace 2020 sucks.
