I'm a US Marine Corp veteran who was in Beirut Lebanon 🇱🇧 in 1983. Our BLT TEAM was bombed and we lost 241 Marines that day was October 23rd 1983. It means his regime’s stance is that the protesters have not done something to warrant their action rven if the university wants them cleared out - other places disagree and we will see if that costs him long term politically, but it is the type of power that position gives him which takes a decent amount of time/accomplishment to get so it will be interesting. Some police chiefs have decided the violence has gone too far while he thinks it is still at an okay level and clearly disregards the private property rights position (“will not clear out the protesters/encampment just for graduation”).

It could, but i don't think it's intended to get bad until after the election. Dems know they can't win. They literally have no one to run for president at this point. Biden doesn't count. Because in Denver, the police chief is the direct subordinate to the sheriff, who also happens to be Denver's mayor. Who is a Democrat. He's been ordered not to, and not to say so. Which, of course, brings up the inherent problems with the current slate of anti-self-defense legislation currently making its way through the Colorado state legislature. They want people to put their lives in the hands of the police...who self-evidently have butterfingers.

The line is easy to draw. When the demonstrators are yelling and saying a bunch of stupid crap, they're allowed to do that. As soon as they interfere with or engage in bullying against individuals and groups who are on the campus to engage in normal school activities, then they should be dispersed and detained.

It is so very weird cause it's not just in this country that strange things been going on with the government. I have a couple of friends one from Ireland and another from Scotland saying that the government is allowing people from other countries to come in and basically taking over places. They told me it is also going on in countries like France and Germany.
