I grew up on a 484 back in the early 80's- I have to say I'm a little surprised to see it pull that plow like that without much trouble at all, if any. Seems to pull it just fine. My dad's 484 seemed to really struggle with pulling a 3 point disc harrow, so I wasn't expecting this. Good ol' tractor, that 484, and from what I remember that engine is damn near bulletproof- just about can't tear it up as long as you take care of it.
Hello, and how are you doing today? I saw your video about plowing with your International 484, and I just had to watch it because I also have an International 484 that I bought in 1984, Love that old tractor! Great video and I wonder where you might have gotten your magnets to mount your cameras on. I have been looking, and I guess I have been looking in the wrong places because I haven't found anything yet. Again, excellent video, and I love all of the camera angles. One more thing, I live in Central Kentucky near Rough River, and may God bless your days the way He always blesses ours!
Yes I did get it plowed thanks to my 1950 Farmall C. The fuel pump was the issue, the pressure head shaft was broken. Among other fuel system problems.
It's possible. The nozzles were replaced about a year ago. Number one doesn't fire right when it's cold, I'm thinking I need a pump and injectors really. I've been messing with getting the rpm set again after using the cold start valve.
