I didn't even realize that "International Female Ride Day" was a thing, but I enjoyed getting together with this group of ladies for a nice ride on cloudy Saturday afternoon 😌
Thank you for letting this old man cruise with you ladies. Was nice even if it was sitting on my couch potatoe ass watching this.Lol. Peace ,Love and all good things!
I missed female ride day because a lifter in my bike went bad. I had to swap a cam and 4 lifters, deal with a stripped bolt, and stubborn exhaust studs instead.
Nice ride!! I loved the early curvy road!!! Nice riding Red!! I don't know..... nobody droolin over your Shovel???? Old bikes are the center of attention on most rides.
Yo Red, group rides are a love-hate relationship. I hate group rides, but I love a good poker run so I will travel the roads I prefer & meet up with everybody at the designated spots. I am an antisocial, social butterfly. Has to be on my terms. I'm glad you went on the ride. Great vid. They needed at least one lady and Motorsickle with true character. ✌️😘❤️😎🇺🇸
Thanks for the ride! It looks like you ladies had a really great day! First time seeing you with your hair up. Youre really pretty like that too. Thanks for taking us along on your beautiful roads!
In Oregon it's in the 90's today, it's getting to be riding season again!! At 74 years old I still have the itch to get the chrome and paint shiny and let the wheels turn. I ride with gear so the super hot days are too much. Last year it was in the high 80's and 90's for over a month and too hot to ride. It's fun watching you wrenching, and riding. I think you underestimate your own abilities and down play yourself there aren't many "ladies" that can sit in their garage with a shovel tranny in pieces and put it back together!! Pleasant rides and keep the rubber side down!!
Didn't watch the video because it says for ladies only, but you get a thumbs up and this comment anyway just to help out. Keep the videos coming in the hopes of convincing more folks to get out and ride. God bless you.
Cool video, you have such awesome roads in b c where I am, it's a war zone. Most ladies where on sportys ,but now I'm seeing em on road kings and such its all good
That looked to be a fabulous run! Always love seeing the scenery that you get to enjoy on your shovel! Seemed like everyone had a good ride and time and rode like a group should ride. I do hope you made a ride buddy or two from that day. Now, tell me how you keep up with how many miles you traveled and what amount of gas is in your tank? My bikes don't have a fuel gauge but they do have a trip meter that I always zero out when I fill up. I have run out of gas before and it's no fun for sure. Great shirts they gave away! Wow!!!! Time for me to go for a ride myself! Keep riding that sweet Shovel, stay safe in your gorgeous B.C.! Peace!
You do have some really good scenery on the roads in Canada. Also note from my last comment to you , the way you always talk about your sister stating to ride her own bike I just thought she was younger than you. LOL By the way it really looks like you two really enjoy riding together, I saw smiles at the end of the ride and it's usually fun to ride with family. Peace little lady 😊
Increasing my Love for you Miss Angel! I always go backwards on poker runs. I don't care for people or drinking I just do them to help raise money for the cause. Seeing a big group of Lady riders though does my heart good. Brothers used to get upset with me handing out "Lady Rider" patches to encourage their wives or girlfriend to get off the backseat and ride their own. I've always hated seeing women trapped on the back of a bike being subjected to a man's decisions. My own daughter won't let her husband ride her bikes and makes him sit behind her if he wants to go along. That boy needs to buy his own! I'm glad you got out for a great ride Miss Angel, your smile does make you all the more Beautiful. With Love and Respect You are in my prayers Hoka Hey
There are so many more woman riding now then what I remember there being growing up! And I always try to encourage anyone who even has the slightest desire to ride 😁
As a sport bike rider, this new to me 120R powered Dyna is a blast! The riding position is awkward for me but getting used to it. It makes similar sounds as yours but sounds really pissed off unless you want full throttle. Then she absolutely sings a badass song! My 1st HD. I will send a picture. As a rider since a small boy it has never occured to me to ride for a social experience. Nice that you do.
send a clip of this vid to Dixon's shirts..great plug 4them.. i wouldnt doubt they use u for a commercial! ..i never even knew of them till tday! luvit
Absolute great ride Angel, I rode in my home town for the women also....I hope you score some riding companions out of it. I also struggle to find women riding companions ,I mostly ride with the boys.....
Hi Angel. Way to represent. Female bikers ride great idea. Cobar's idea of the day: Get a second ammo can weld in a false bottom half way up cut from the top of a 50 gallon drum including the smaller bung and plug with seal. Include a 1/4" pickup tube and weld nuts to its top for mounting a 12 volt lift pump. Wire pump with short leads and alligator clips. Outlet side of pump gets enough 1/4" fuel line to reach gas tank fill cap and install removable plug. You will then be able to carry transferable fuel, not make a mess and still have top half for storage of tools, gloves or camera.
@@RedRiderCanadaBC Or an insert of heavier metal, shut off then fill hose, tire air fill valve instead of pump. If you fill half fuel half air it only takes less than 5 psi to blow all the fuel up to bikes tank .
hey great video Angle, im so jellos of your weather out there as here in my aria of Ontario ,the weather has been so cold although not snow cold but around the 10 to 14 as it will be like it will be quit nice during the day when im busy and cant get out ,but when i want to go out for a little boot after supper it will drop just enough that i dont want to go ,its so frustrating as so far iv only gotten out once this season and thats it.oh and we've had lots or cold and rainy days as. .
@@RedRiderCanadaBC And now to top it all off i had planed to take one of m bikes out tomorrow for an appointment as it was supposed to be nice ,now their calling for 3 degrees cooler then today and mostly rain and a possible thunder storm ..girl i just cant seem to win against mother nature.
Glad to see you get out and enjoy some more human interaction. lol.. welcome to the DIXXON fam. I am dealing with a full blown AD-DIXXON. Ride safe!! Shiny Side Up! ✌️
kool vid Angel, i had to replay 1 part a second time when you said your love 4 Dixxon shirts wow, as i have a couple of em also, they are the best, the fit perfect with lots of room, they are 80bucks each here but well worth buying as the 1s i used to wear for the last 50years are around 40 bucks & are cheap garbage dont even make a good oil rag lmao
Doc told me I had to quit my dirt drag bike. Had two more stints in arteries to major organs and still need one more, 20 day hosp stay. Physical therapy at home three times a week. Reckon I'll go nuts now because I've always been an adrenil;in junky. Never thought getting to be 70 would lead to a rockin chair.
Angel, go to your local chainsaw dealer. They sell premixed fuel for saws in a nice reusable metal 1 litre can. Might be better than a plastic oil jug. Just a thought.
Your bike is one of the most bad ass, bare bones Harleys I have ever seen. Your bike is one of a kind and truly a wonder to look at. Perhaps I'll see you sometime this summer if I head west this year from Alberta. No mistaking your bike. Thanks for posting this fellow red head.
No matter how much of a pain in the butt it is getting up and ready for a ride, it's always worth it. Florida is very different with it's voluntary stop lights. LOL
I love the views on the 360 cameras.. but i have heard a lot of good things about the dji too.. that would be a hard choice. I dont think the 360 is as tough or waterproof but not sure
Go to lowes or home depot and get true fuel ⛽️ it doesn't have ethanol in it. It's for lawn mower but. It will work great the can is about a quart so should fit in your ammo can perfectly. And they have bigger cans too. Stay safe angel 😇.
Would a Quadlock(Aus) camera mount be a better bet than the plumbers nightmare you've got at the moment. For the extra fuel bottle, think about european( German) gas 1lt bottles that are used for camping.Heavy wall alloy with a screw on top.
The thing with the camera is trying to get it in a good position for view and have it be stable enough to withstand the vibrations on my bike. It's a pain in the butt and I have been trying to figure out a simple solution 🤔
I have both the insta360 camera and the tiny gimbal camera from DJI. The latter is a better camera for quality an zooming in on stuff, but I would get the 360 first. It can do both the riding job an the walking an talking job. You will get way more use out of it.
The rider in front of you on the silver road king needs to practice holding lines a lil bit better, she had me panic braking my keyboard a few times lol
Hahahah yea she was kind of all over the place there for a bit. But the right side of the road was pretty poor conditions so I just hung back a bit and gave her the space she wanted... Or at least I tried haha
Im not sure the size of your tank but i always made sure i can easily do 100 miles between stops. Either way i seen little fuel cans that are the same size as a water bottle. Dont know who makes them but might be something to look into
"Always carry spare gasoline with you. Whether you're driving a car or a motorcycle, it doesn't matter, even if you don't need this gasoline, you can always give it to whoever needs it right now" - this is the rule that my father has been hammering into me all my life. It can be a banal ordinary plastic soda bottle. Увы, но я не всегда слушался отца, из за чего не раз оставался сухим где то далеко на трассе 😂😢
Hi..that was a cool ride through the mountains. About your gas concerns. Listen I briefly looked at your bike. Not sure what you carry in your Ammo can? But what if you redesign your ammo can into the fuel tank ammo can? Make it so they both look alike but one is the extra fuel for your longer road trips. Interchangeable maybe, just a thought. Talk to you later.
