Beautiful bright light is good and safe, but it's boring. Only 6 volt light bulbs gave the excitement of Russian roulette on the road - the faster you drive, the brighter it burns! Of course I'm joking, be safe guys! :)
Ha lordy one thing about the wind it keeps the flies off the watermelon and other things fur sure .. I thought I caught a glimpse of a Dora the explorer backpack in the truck . No worries won't tell anyone .. used to carry a GI Joe with the Kung Foo grip in me backpack so there you go.. Great video funny stuff man
My Triumph needed two priming kicks. Any more would flood it and you’d never get it started. 250 two stroke noted for hard starting. Ignition off choke on kick twice. Choke off, ignition on, kick and off it would go. Too many kicks on choke and it would never start.
My 67 FLH came with an electric start and a kicker. It's definitely a good idea to know how to use that kicker just in case. My dad has rode in a MC for over 50 years and I learned about kick starting bikes when the majority of the bikes club members were riding back in the day were kick start only
Great Video Red! Fun local fact. We live in New Hampshire and have a bonafide Son of Liberty buried in a field just over a rise across the street. He was a laborer for the family farm there during that time. His headstone is just a medium sized rock, no name on the stone. The stink of it is his headstone is placed outside of that family's small cemetery. Its nearby but just a lone unmarked grave in a field. However the grave is marked with a Sons of Liberty medallion and an American Flag. We are always sure to make his resting spot tidy during the summer and especially Independence Day. As far as liking you, thats a given. Now I cant say Ive ever cared for Harley Davidson motos but I do think you should get yourself a cheap older Tonti framed Moto Guzzi, perhaps a California, and find out how a cruiser can rail in the twisties. Also listen to the song 1952 Black Vincent Black Lightning. You'd be the Red Molly gal in that song... Thanks for a wonderful video.
Wow that such an interesting piece of history to have in your backyard! And thank you for watching and giving your support 😁 p.s. Ive heard the song a few times 👍
Yeah, we Americans traded a family of inbred despots for filthy Rich, corrupt, corporate puppets every 4 to 8 years. The one interesting fact about King George is, he had an obsession with his own feces and would Americans tried to help Canada be free of that inbred family? Canadians kicked our butts all the way back home.😂
What’s very interesting. Being that I am a British bike guy with some Honda experience. I have no idea what it’s like to have a belt primary or main drive. I kinda like the sound of a chain and the durability of a chain, but it’s interesting to see how the belts adjusted. One thing I’ll never understand is to the open primary. I don’t think I want my pants or my foot yanked to that thing.
Why not just always have kick start on all Harleys? Just seems real? (This from a stick car guy that is worried the auto industry is loosing something spiritually ephemeral to cars as automatics are quickly becoming the only option in so many brands)

I have an old shovel that when people were watching it never started, I saved up some cash went to a million swap meets and put electric starter on it, well worth it
