In this lecture, Professor Tom Obokata identifies core obligations relating to trafficking of human beings established under international law and then provides an analysis on the extent to which these are implemented in the United Kingdom.
Professor Obokata is an expert on transnational organised crime generally, and trafficking of human beings in particular. He has a number of publications in these areas, the most recent one being "Transnational Organised Crime in International Law" (2010). He currently serves as the Adviser to the Northern Ireland Assembly All Party Group on Human Trafficking and previously provided expert advice to bodies such as the UK Parliamentary Joint Committee on Human Rights, International Organisation for Migration and the European Union.

For the amount of crimes overall there is not enough of prisons, Courts would not be able to convict all criminals. Certain crimes are leveled in severity. There are people in the jury, The whole system needs a professional rethink.

How to fix this, maybe these countries with impoverished suffering poor people could provide them with government financial aid so they don’t resort to desperate measures to feed, clothe and pay for their healthcare. Punishment for these crimes should be for both the customer & the trafficker, hold both parties responsible.
