Photographed the International Space Station transiting the Sun on April 30th, 2016 from Little John Island, Maine. I used a Celestron Nexstar 6SE telescope with a Nikon D5300 attached in prime focus.

+cputb1 Thanks!!! I really do enjoy capturing the space stuff. It is so interesting and very challenging to be in the right place at the right time with the right equipment! And don't forget batteries! LOL!

Did you shoot timelapse or video. What framerate/shutterspeed did you use?

mdees88 hey thanks for the question. I shot video through my Nikon D5300 camera. The camera shoots at 60 frames a second. I don't remember the shutter speed I used. It sure is fun though capturing a transit!
