It is laughable that it is claimed that citizens with solar panels would burden the grid. It couldn't be further from the truth, the opposite is actually true. Citizens only use 20% of all electricity, so they only burden the grid for 20% But they do pay for biogas plants, wind farms, solar parks and perhaps even nuclear power plants. Citizens therefore hardly burden the grid. Most electricity still comes from non-sustainable sources and only then from wind and sun. Less than 20% comes from the sun and of that 20%, more than 60% comes from solar parks. There are tens of thousands of solar panels in solar parks. There are 350,000 solar panels in Vlagtwedde and there are plans for 2.5 MILLION solar panels on the IJsselmeer. With a lot of sun, the power stations are shut down first, followed by the wind farms and solar parks. Citizens with solar panels never cause too much electricity. You might as well blame mice for the manure surplus. There is also no surplus, so we even want to build 2.5 MILLION solar panels on the IJsselmeer and even nuclear power stations. But it is even worse when you know that citizens with solar panels actually REDUCE THE LOAD on the grid and fewer wind turbines and solar parks need to be built for them. Citizens with solar panels use the grid much less than citizens without solar panels and they supply electricity to neighbors in the street and residential area. Otherwise these neighbors would have had to get electricity from far away. Citizens with solar panels therefore REDUCE the burden on the power grid. Citizens with solar panels generate their own electricity 8 out of 12 months and do not need electricity from wind turbines in the North Sea or from solar panels in meadows. They also use less during the other 4 winter months than citizens without solar panels. Citizens without solar panels sometimes receive power from their neighbors instead of a solar park far away, thus relieving the grid.
