You make mention of the focal slowing on the left side in the body of the report but don’t note it in the impression possibly stating that there is left sided hemispheric dysfunction in addition to the generalized slowing, is there a reason for that?
Good pickup. Thank you. I could have added that the left hemispheric slowing could be related to/in-keeping with an underlying structural abnormality, which was the case on the MRI.
And what happened next? Did these twitching movements without epileptiform discharges recorded on the EEG correspond to an epileptic event? Did the patient improve with antiepileptic drugs?...... Thank you for everything.
