They are a beautiful family. I've noticed quite a few Korean men are married to black women and seem happy in their relationship. I think more black women should venture out of their race to find their spouse. Sometimes, other cultures value you more than your own.
I’ve seen a number of negative videos about dating Korean men and how they only want one thing from foreign women. They’re experience is valid but it’s not the only experience. This is a breath of fresh air. What a beautiful family! The oldest, Sol, touching her father’s face was adorable.
We have to realize this is the exception. Western women need to stop fantasizing or fetishizing Asian men and their relationships with them or just any man outside of your respective race.
I hope you learn about the history of 'Asians in the West.' Please search for 'Stereotypes of East Asians in the United States' on Wikipedia and read it. Western men have a 300-year history of portraying Asian men as unattractive and misogynistic in their media. It's not surprising at all that they demonize Korean men these days.
@@user-cnksi223 Most of this is coming from girls going to Korea, meeting the wrong guys in the wrong ways/wrong places, and being surprised when they turn out to be bad. Then make videos making it seems like they are the majority of Korean guys. There are tons of these videos on RU-vid. And many people just assume from these videos that most Korean guys are bad. Similar to the way people have been generalizing all or most Koreans as being racist.
Yeah and people should look at who the producers are, not the cast. It's easy to generalize someone based on some examples. If people want to know the most accurate thing, they have to look at objective numbers. For example, crime rate, out-of-wedlock birth rate, etc. Do you really think Asian men are particularly morally bad? I want people to become a little smarter. They don't generalize whites only
I'm so happy for them! Just for safety, childcare, and the healthcare system alone in Korea compared to the States, I wholeheartedly agree with them staying there. 3 yrs of parental leave is unheard of in the U.S. As a Spanish speaker, I immediately saw the cuteness in the names chosen for their daughters :)
@@yj8641 Nah i guess it's the same as in most of europe. Most of the time the mother has a longer leaver but there is also a quasi "shared" leave that partners can split among themselves. Let's say 12 months that either the mother or the father can take additionally to the mandated parent leave.
@@Skyl3t0n no. They dont have shared parental leave time. Even if he gives up some of his parental leave time, she doesnt get any more. She works for the US military, and Korean government can garauntee parental leave only to the Korean government workers.
I've seen many interracial couples on youtube, but this story i find one of the most beautiful one....because I can see/feel the love and respect they have for each other. And when a woman talks with this much love about her mother in law and when she is genuinely praising her husband....than you know this a truly blessed marriage. Beautiful couple, beautiful daughters...I wish you a long happy life together.
YES !! Especially the pass port bros in Thailand! They make the best wives ! BM should definitely expand their options and date other races other than their own! 🔥👀
Beautiful story! As an African American woman that have watched so many negative stories about dating in Korea, I found this very encouraging and wholesome. Kudos to the wife for being so brave in dating a stranger from a stranger. Kudos to the husband for being willing to work diligently as a stay at home dad. Again, Beautiful story. Thanks for sharing.❤
@diligenceeke3023 The husband is a firefighter that chose to stop working for three years to help raise his two daughters. You are right, not every man could do this, being at home all day with children can be really difficult and exhausting. It takes a special type of person to do that job.😉
@@Dee-ex7cx Yes it can be exhausting. However, I wasn't referring to that. I don't mean this maliciously, but I sincerely feel that there is a serious desire to redefine family roles. Traditionally, a man is supposed to be out there working hard to fend for his family, and that means endangering his life, dying earlier, etc. Sitting at home to take care of kids like a wife was never meant to be a man's role. I personally feel it's an emasculation of the man. I could never understand it. A man should go to work, get the money, come home and still assist his wife in home chores as much as possible, including taking care of the kids. But a man staying home for three years? Well, good luck to them if it works for them.
@@diligenceeke3023 it happens a lot in Korea. Most private sector jobs dont give long parental leave, but the government jobs have generous parental leave. If the wife works at a private company, and the husband works for the government, the best option is that the wife gets a short maternity leave, and the husband takes the long parental leave so both mom and dad can secure their jobs (continue with double income), and the parents ( actually the stay home dad) take care of children on their own. Its better if the dad takes care of the kids instead of hirng a nanny, emotionally and financially too. Korean parents prefer raising the kids for themselves and not depending on a nanny (one of the reasons why birth rate is so low). A lot of young Korean men are very good caregivers. They take care of the wife and kids well- attentive, supportive, protective- like the husband in the video. Legally he can take 6 year parental leave, but he may want to go back to work after the little kid start the daycare/preschool.
What a lovely story! It's wonderful that you met a matchmaking stranger who was not afraid to think of his employee and then to go on a blind date. And now you have two precious girls and his parents have been wonderful. This is lovely.
I smiled through the entire interview.... So much Love seen and the magical way Mr. Lee introduced you is straight out of a romance novel..... Wishing you guys all the best....
You can tell just from this video how much he cares and loves his little girls, constantly looking out for them. And yes, those babies are really beautiful. Wish this family the best.
@@user-sr4we2vn7qI pray that you’ll become nicer. Being mean will hurt you in the long run. Being sweet and kind to others is beneficial for both parties ❤️
@@user-sr4we2vn7q That’s your opinion though. She is beautiful, the husband is handsome and the entire family is beautiful. You’re allowed to have your opinion but your opinion isn’t fact
I love seeing these couples, this is a lovely story. my husband is Filipino and I’m black, we fell in love instantly. living here in the south we get looked at sideways and rude stares. he’s from Cali and I grew up in KY it’s crazy how many people here lack diversity and being open minded to different cultures. I love Asian people and their culture This is a beautiful couple ❤
This was such a beautiful love story ❤❤. Shout out to the older gentleman for setting them up and yes trust is so important in a relationship. Wishing them a happy marriage
Shout out to his mom. I have had the world’s best MIL for more than 20 years now, I count her among my closest friends and speak to her every day. It’s a beautiful thing when a new family can just embrace one another and trust that everyone is working together to form a happy, healthy family and everyone has to be open and kind to make that happen.
it’s never too late to have your wedding! even if it’s years later, even if you have children. it’ll be even better because you can enjoy it as a family ❤
I'm of the first generation of half Korean. I'm 44 now. I know how much we have in common. I wish you well. The children will struggle but they will be very strong because of this. I wish you well.
It depends on where you live, diverse cities are the best place. We live in a different generation that is very open & accepting. I see interracial couples & their children all the time where I live (my family included).
@moshiacid6673 I didn't imply an expectation at all, as a matter of fact, I'm implying actual reality. Lived in Korea for over 7 years, so that statement, I know for a fact, doesn't describe Korea in any aspect. Not saying it's wrong or right, just highlighting what is. Diversity is even a RECENT ideology in the west, it has nowhere near taken hold in the east, just because of a handful of highlighted couples.
Such a beautiful family! This was so interesting for me to watch because I'm having a very similar experience. I moved to Korea last year, and have been dating my boyfriend since September of last year. We've recently started to talk about marriage, and he's actually the one who initiated that conversation first. As some other people in the comments are saying, I also had heard a lot of negative things about Korean men when it comes to dating, especially as a foreign woman. I spent a lot of time on TikTok listening to the things different people would say, and it honestly made me a little apprehensive about trying to date in Korea at first but I've learned that it's honestly not all that terribly different than it is dating anywhere else, though I will say in my experience the men in Korea do seem to be a lot more protective than most men in US are, and it was a bit of a shock to my system at first lol.
They’re such a cute couple, both seem like good vibes and very in tune with each other, he seems like such a patient and good father too. It’d be so cool if. They have a yt channel but I also kinda like that they don’t bc all of ppl have no boundaries and they seem really happy as is. Their daughters are beautiful.
Wow, she looks genuinely happy! I'm yet to see anyone married so many years in (6 already) and being this excited about their marriage! Maybe it's her personality too (clearly she's the extrovert of the couple), but still! Awesome for her! :)
Their girls are so adorable and hilarious to watch, my kids are a bit bigger now and these kinds of things make me wish I could go back to these busy days, just for a day or so 😅
it’s funny that even in interracial couples they end up looking alike (people are attracted to people who look like themselves) these two have similar facial structure/placement.. to me it’s a good sign that their relationship will last lol
Glade I came across this post as I’m traveling to Seoul for vacation so I downloaded Papago and looking forward to using it 💕🙋🏾♀️🇨🇩🥰 Thank for sharing the story
@K Explorer, your interviews get better and better.....I really enjoy the open, honest, true questions you ask that we really want to know! This is a beautiful couple that are showing the most positive side of Love and I am always curious about the interracial marriages but this couple shared the good, bad and not much ugly! Much love to them both and I hope they continue to love and show the world that learning other cultures can be a loving experience! Cant wait to visit South Korea next year to see the culture live....hope to see you filming somewhere!
Anazing content, as usual! Thank you for sharing this beautiful story with the world! Gorgeous loving couple and daughters! Love this! Bless you all! ❤❤❤
Love your videos! Just a suggestion, children tend to be really active so during interviews like this one I think it'll help you and your interviewee if you make use of sperate microphones. I hope this helps!🤗
There is always a new love story about how couples meet and I never get tired of hearing it. I am also in an interracial marriage for 30+ years and it is hard to understand the underlying meaning of our emotions. We both speak the same language but are from different backgrounds. It is fun and hard, and I am sure for any married couples.
WOW what a 'Beautiful Couple with Beautiful little ones'... LOVE KNOWS NO BOUNDARIES... Long may you both be happy and wishing your little family happiness.
What a Beautiful Family!!! Now this young lady needs to share her prayer with all the Korean boos out there! We are tired of girls crying about FBs in Korea when there are obviously exemplary good men out there too! Amazed by how the man of the house is hands on husband, father, protector, light with the ultimate dedication to his responsibilities, even when the camera is on he is keeping a caring eye on both his daughters and his wife. May this family be showered with everlasting happiness and abundant positive blessings!!!
What a great story! This family is so beautiful. So loving and they were friends first I mean after being introduced by a "Stranger" What a story for when the kids are older. So Romantic!!
This is amazing. Their connection is so inspiring 🙌🏻. And Sol and Luna are so cute. I loved the way Sol was touching her daddy’s face; so lovely. Such a beautiful family 🥰.
