The first time I saw this scene, when Nikolai said "Truth serum" I thought it was gonna be some CIA classified shit, and when he opened the door and it was his family I laughed so fucking hard
@@viniciusmarchetti6924 Of course they are things that are right, and there are certainly things that are terribly wrong. No matter if it's war or not, war has rules.
It's funny how The Butcher, kills a Father alongside his child, thinking he's some type of gangster, but when he has, his own Wife and child, held at gunpoint, he begins to shit himself, and starts to reveal his Humanity, how ironic, guess he's not as strong as he claimed to be. This entire scene felt more sastifing, than disturbing.
The Dark Knight Any dad or mother would break, no one can endure seeing their loved ones getting threatened or hurt. Especially if it’s your husband wife, or child. There’s a reason why many Governments use these techniques and terrorists groups even try to, the thing is that the Government still does keep a line between innocent and not innocent, heavily violent interrogating and basic interrogating. Giving suffering to a terrorist and hurting other innocent people for his actions. The Government does have these type of rules, but Terrorists organizations like ISIS? Governments take their gloves off and get bloody, but terrorist organizations don’t have gloves and are bloody all the time, they do it with no regrets or regards to humanity, and they take rape, innocent citizens, mass murders, and more as a casual technique to scare it’s enemies and to keep in power, and to fight with Governments. They’re “Against Governments” and more, but in my eyes they’re against humanity. I’m happy that we Americans ended up catching and killing the ISIS Leader, but a new one will just take it’s place and they will continue. But we atleast did make a example out of him and their reputation has been decreased even more by it. Thanks to foreign countries we got alot of intel though, so it wasn’t just us. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
In the end, Enemies are just scared of the Dark. Look how the Islamic State fighters are fighting the Coalition: Disorganized, Scared, and they knew they would lose because nobody would accept a Caliphate that is not going to happen.
@@dukeyang9210 a point? Do you have it? Price dipped his hands in the dirt. Osama fucking took the dirt and rolled around in it. Even shoved some up his ass.
MW 2019 Price: Uses civillians as leverage against a terrorist and leaves Gaz behind in a room with a loaded gun and those civilians and the terrorist to do whatever he wants MWIII Price: Stops Soap from killing the most dangerous Russian terrorist lol
It’s because makarov keeps escaping. He saved more lives than he took. He IS the good guy. The only reason he is even seen as bad is because that’s not what you are supposed to do. The wife and child were NEVER in danger and price made sure of that. We are talking about IMPERATIVE information. If he would have hurt them then he would be bad. But it was necessary. Don’t forget what side he is on.
"end of the day someone has to make the enemy scared of the dark" something about that little smile he does after he says that gets me.. its like he's taking a tole psychologically from all the shit he's had to go through
@@thenavigator2559 hey dickhead. Im telling him he has no idea what Army vets had to go through. They had to go through Fucking HELL TO DO WHAT THEY HAVE TO DO. It destroys them MENTALLY. which is why they have ptsd. My fucking grandfather suffered from ptsd after ww2. He thought he was still in the war when he went back to france after ww2! You dont understand jack shit about what soldiers go through!
@@Mikemic2218 So what's your point? Neither do you. So shut the fuck up bitch. Just because your Granpa has been to war doesn't mean YOU have been to one you fuckwat.
Hmm. You could probably speed run pretty quick if (already knowing what was going to happen) you immediately pulled the trigger on the empty gun, got the bullets, and then shot the Butcher. Don't know if the game forces you to wait.
"We are innocent people...you promised to keep this away from us" everyone feels innocent when we aren't the ones killing, even when they know it's happening
On the mission Clean House, if you keep killing the baby after multiple re-spawns, it’ll say: “are you serious”, only for it to place you back to menu. I presume it’s the same for this and all the other missions which involve civilians. Either way, you’re probs wondering why I did this. Well, I had to ensure the future bomber was *eliminated* .
I did different combinations of killing the butcher and kept hitting “restart from checkpoint” so I could keep doing it. And I got to one point where I tried to shoot his hand and then price and the kid got in the way and I think I may have accidentally shot price but idk but then instead of saying “friendly fire will not be tolerated” or “killing civilians will not be tolerated” it said “are you serious?“ and then said I had been disconnected from Xbox live and took me out to the campaign main menu. It was crazy I’d never seen anything like it.
It just happened again. To get this to work. Aim at the butchers right hand (on the left side of the screen) and continuously pull the trigger and then once price starts to back up after handing the kid back, you’ll shoot and it either hits price or the kid and it says “are you serious?“ and takes you to the main menu
The Russians have purchased some Vics for patrol vehicles, only a few however. Now, here in the States, the majority of the remaining Vics are used as spare vehicles, traffic patrols, and/or K-9 units.
During the chase, I failed twice because I kept shooting the butcher, I wanted to see him dead after what he did to that father and son. When I heard him begging you to keep his family alive, I restarted the mission and chose not to interrogate him. Cod got me questioning my morals 😭
That shit got me uncomfortable when I played the first time, but as Price says "The gloves are off." I didn't kill the Butcher, killing him is a mercy and letting him live, he'll have to live with the fact that he put his wife and child in danger and the lives he took from the father and son at the embassy.
Honestly, I just shot 'The Butcher' after the interrogation, without hesitation. Sure he had a wife and son but at the end of the day if he isn't put in the ground he'll likely just end up killing more fathers and sons, just like in the embassy.
yeah im ngl for a while i was like "ehh should i kill him??" then remembered what he did and shot his head in front of his family i remember when i was like 7 playing mw2 campaign i just killed a bunch of innocent people without understanding the story or anything, now that i'm much older when i see someone innocent die in a cod game, i just kinda think "damn.."
"Revenge is a fools game" Arthur Morgan He is right, actually this is not vengeance, it is justice or punishment. Except if you kill butcher's family, then you are the same as the butcher and not better than him.
Ghost Boss i think the point is that his wife and child are innocent civilians. threatening them for show was necessary to make the butcher crack I feel. but murdering an innocent woman and a child would make you a piece of shit like butcher. bottom line.
Honestly, the heartless bastard side of me says that the only way out for this bastard would be to cripple but not kill the wife and kid. If they die, the Butcher will know rage but he will still find comfort in that at least they will be in a better place. However, if they are both in a wheelchair, crippled, muted, blinded or all of the above but still alive, then even if he wins he will always be reminded of his failure and suffer for it. Let him know what the price of success or failure has cost him in something that no amount of bodies can ever bring back. I doubt things will stay stable in that relationship afterwards either. The evilest thing to do would be to mix those two into a group that his men were planning on attacking and don't interfere. Have the Butcher watch as his men carry out his orders, unknowing putting the wife and kid in the crossfire and give him a radio and say he can try and call off the attack. The kicker is; the radio is a dud, it doesn't connect to anything but a tape recorder. When its all said and done, put his speeches, his orders and his pleads all on the same track and leave it with him, maybe on repeat until maybe his men find him. For some people, death is too merciful an option. The Butcher is such a person.
Honestly this game was so dark.. I’m kinda glad they gave you the option not to do it, cause I chose that first... like I got emotional from some parts in the game.
Just a question, what if this situation really happens in real life? What will Garrick, Price, Yagor and Nikolai face? I mean the punishment. Do the SAS really allow to do this type of interrogation?
IRL, Officially they are not allowed to do this crap. But the truth is special forces in general are heavily protected when it comes to this due to the highly confidential nature of their operations as well as their stakes. They could very well be doing this. ... Also, they very well might not be. There are many ways to legally torture someone. Strictly speaking, when a cop puts you in a cell for 48 hours with no access to light, a clock, or to the news while repeatedly interrogating you can mindfuck you so hard a lot lf people confess before even seeing a lawyer. Some even confess to things they didn't even commit ! I personally think they do this stuff on the regular. Every 20 years some shit leaks confirming they actually were torturing folks but then they deny doing it "today".
The fact that you can't shoot the mother even though you can shoot unarmed women in other sections is proof this game will look over the ledge but won't take the jump.
Yukari's Gaming and Gun Reviews The mission objective was to interrogate the Butcher, not to kill a innocent mother and child. They only used them both so he would talk, but they weren’t there to be hurt at all. They’re both innocent, and the Butcher was the only guy who wasn’t innocent. It happends in reality alot by all Governments, it’s the easiest and quickest way to make someone talk. If you genuinely care about someone and someone threatenings to hurt them or if you see them being hurt, then anyone will break and talk, even the toughest men or women will. It’s one of the strongest weaknesses of a human and it will fully mentally break you if you care about them. (Especially if it’s your wife or child, or husband) There’s a reason why Terrorists groups focus families to break someone, but they go further then just hurting or threatening those cared ones, which isn’t forgivable and they take torturing and interrogation to another level. They don’t get dirty, it’s their normal status of working and thinking. People who say things like “ISIS is better then” or the Taliban has truly never ever seen them “Operate” and haven’t been at war with them.
You can? I don't remember being allowed to shoot any unarmed women. Name a specific example. Even if you could, that would be an accident in the heat of things. This would just be outright cold blooded murder.
Me in the game: Alright, forget the gas for a minute. If I don't ask this it's gonna drive me nuts. Does the Butcher wear anything other than a soccer jersey? I mean what are you, a nine year old? Hey kid, know anything about this? Does daddy like that team so much he has a closet full of jerseys? No? You like the rival team? That's okay. Me and my dad are the same way. I'm sure it's just that one shirt. Eww! It smells like shit. Lady, don't you do the laundry? I'm not a sexist or anything but I was under the impression you wash clothes for him. No? Is it a "I'll do them this week, you do them the next" thing? What's the system? Boy, do you do laundry too? Who's in charge of the laundry! **warning shot** Tell me now or the boy gets it first!
Know I’m a bit late but I always wanted to know (if anyone found out) if we choose the Ik out option, does price actually kill Rahar or no? I know we don’t hear him (with what we can hear outside the locked door) but we get a slight glimpse of him when price walks out but hard to tell if he’s alive or not. I would say he wouldn’t but he does say that the line does need to be crossed when it needs to or something along those lines so I’m kinda iffy that he would actually kill him for the mission. An answer would make my day but then again long shot if anyone actually knows.
I’ve never played this game so I don’t understand what’s happening so could someone explain and what happens if you choose I’m out and what happens if you choose I’m in plz tell me
The second choice on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) level: Old Comrades Kyle Garrick executes The Butcher and it compares to Call of Duty: Black Ops II level: Suffer with Me which Raul Menendez executed Jason Hudson as act of revenge for the death of his father and sister back in Panama.
