Downtown Detroit to Toledo is about 50 mins....and how I know is because I live in the middle.....16 miles away from Detroit and 40 miles away from Toledo so we're just right there

I have always loved driving the segment of 75 parallel to the transmission lines near I-275. Glad to see the construction finally finished just south of 275 though! Looks like the next section could use a makeover as well. I'm surprised OSHP weren't staked out with radar guns pointed at incoming Michigan traffic near the state line! Anyways great video as I-75 south of Detroit never gets old for me!
Thanks for the comment. I quite like I-75 through here too. I actually really like driving through Michigan. I think MDOT does a really good job, highways in Michigan are generally pretty well designed in my mind. I-94 sticks out as kind of being ghetto, but I kind of give it a pass because it is such an old highway.
It appears there's only around 80 miles of I-75 between Bay City, Michigan & Southern Kentucky that isn't currently 6+ lanes... with mostly Tennessee in the way of 6+ lanes literally cross country between Naples, Florida & Bay City Michigan. Freaking crazy, isn't it? Basically 275 miles of road between those two points of 4 lane rural interstate remaining and that number is still likely dwindling. It's just around 80 miles in Central Ohio so, Tennessee is likely gonna be in the way of such an impressive goal in the coming decades, I take it?
Detroit and Toledo are both cities in the Great Lakes and they're both dangerous cities in the ranks. I-75 between Detroit and Toledo is parallel to the Detroit River and the west shore of Lake Erie. The drive is just 58.5 mi.
Did yall know 275 is a bypass Between Toledo and Detroit cause 75 is a major freeways between Toledo and Detroit cause there so close that there can be traffic from here to there
It's also pivotal to Ohioans since I-75 and I-275 connect Toledo to Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) in 40 minutes. I believe Toledo Express has twelve commercial flights per day - DTW has hundreds, including international flights.
A weird thing to comment on but there are a lot of American brand cars in this region which is of course no surprise but the ratio from this video it's like 15:1 American:Every other Brand
Thats no surprise and thats a good thing. Also if you have a Japanese car in Detroit a lot of people will make fun of you. I'm from and live in Detroit.
@@Demondude321 good point but some of the Japanese cars are actually made in Indiana Subaru thanks to a Mike Pence deal Toyota Kentucky Indiana Mitch McConnell
