It actually hurts that this dream evoking, theory explaining, wonder of a space film got completely ignored by the academy in the Oscars, when a year earlier Gravity (a blockbuster type film about half as good IMHO) won about 6 Oscars. Bunch of knobs!
+Harvey M8 I don't understand why you can read a comment about people having their own opinion, then to claim that their opinion is false. In my opinion it was one of the greater movies I've seen, and everything in the movie is scientifically accurate. Why do you consider the movie to be "shit"?
Harvey M8 Well, the movie may have been a little dragged on, I can agree a little there. The movie wasn't meant to have Character or soul, it's a science fiction movie that goes over many theories and concepts about space and time. Overall the movie was good.
+Multi Versian (Multiversian) I died 4 times and spent 19 days in a coma and this song gives me flashbacks of when I was fighting for my life. It's weird I know. That video is brilliant along with the song. Thank you 😊
+Bradley Green It's because as a nation we're being surpressed and it's only going to get worse. We're easier to be controlled when we're not thinking. We don't need to look to the stars, we have faith and religion that tells us everything we need to know.
+Bradley Green I stand corrected. Only when religion is gone will we be able to progress. Unfortunately that's not gonna happen. I don't think it's likely that we will be visited by an advanced race who can " save us from ourselves" and help us advance toward the stars. I think that understanding the laws of the universe and evolving technologically as a species is something we have to figure out for ourselves. Only when we are ready to make the next step will there be contact with others in the universe. Religion prevents 97% of our population from asking questions because these 2000 year old books answer them for us. I'm almost embarrassed for our species. If we did meet an advanced race and they asked me what the majority of us believe in I'd be forced to say: "We'll...Umm, you see there's this invisible being. And he created our planet in six days. And, umm on the seventh day he had a sleep...Because he was tired. And he created us in his image. He's perfect and we should always love him. And never question him. We've got this book that we should follow, with a list of rules. But one of the rules about killing we often break. But, err that's alright because we can ask him for forgiveness and even though we don't hear or see him we know we're forgiven. If we don't ask for forgiveness we get sent to this place called hell...Which is horrible apparently. Forever and ever. Even though he loves us. And if we're good we get to go to this place called heaven. It's supposed to be great and we stay there for all eternity, with him." I think they would go back to their ship and tell the others: "Let's get out of here, they're mental".
What about the generations possibly in the very far distant future ?? The generations that will get to explore the sheer vastness of space , that get to be on colonies established on planets that millions of light years away , don't you wanna live in that generation ?? No offense but I always dream of what their life is gonna be like exploring space , bending time , life will cease to be like what it is today . Just the thought of it makes me feel soo small and reminds me that we are nothing but insignificant specks of dust within an infinite yet indefinite universe which will continue to go on for billions of years while most of us won't even see past the next 70 years , I'm sorry , I get soo carried away when I think about space lol
@@ilovechocolate6997 nope , we still have a very very long way to go , there'll be millions of years before the earth experiences another extinction level event and even then some portion of the human race will still survive
The fact that Cooper had to work his ass off all his life, lost his wife and his favorite job. It just makes me realize that everything pays off, eventually. He paid a huge price, but in return he went in the highest journey which is something that i'd give my entire life for. The feeling of leaving the earth's orbit must be amazing, and shaky. I can't even imagine how traveling through a wormhole would feel like. The beginning of this video gets me. The song and the scenes create this feeling that i didn't have before. I want to be an astronaut, i gained interest about a year ago, i'm a senior in high school... yeah a lil' too late. I know that i'm going to have to work my ass off, i already started, and i will finish it. I know i won't be able to do what's done in the movie, but i will try my very best to be working at NASA whenever we get to Mars, hell i might even work my ass a lil harder to be involved in the mission.
+Montanez Go to college on a ROTC scholarship, study engineering or physics, join the Navy or Air Force as an Aviator or Flight Officer. If you don't have the grades, go to a mediocre state college, work your ass off, and apply for Officer Candidate School when you graduate with an engineering or physics degree. It isn't too late brother. Plenty of people have started way rockier than you. Good luck and god speed.
+Montanez By traveling though a wormhole you wouldnt feel anything, you would just been compressed to death by the gravity before even understand what's happening.
I made a comment on the song of "M83 - Outro" around 4 months ago saying how perfect this song would be to my favorite movie, Interstellar. After watching this, I'm speechless, not only because I knew how epic it would be in my head- but how perfect it really was. Absolutely incredible, you gave me goosebumps!
The first note . Floods me with emotions. Goosebumps electrifying potions. Over coming my body and soul. Released with every heartbeat . Filling that broken hole.
You know your building up to an epic re-watch when you find yourself looking and listening to the good stuff like this. Still open mouthed and open hearted
“Maybe love means something more - Maybe it means something we can't... yet understand. Maybe it's some evidence, some artifact of a higher dimension that we can't consciously perceive. I'm drawn across the universe to someone I haven't seen in a decade... Who I know is probably dead. Love is the one thing we're capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space. Maybe we should trust that, even if we can't understand it yet.”
Space has always and will forever fascinate me. I've probably watched interstellar a dozen times and it doesn't get old. Perfect music for an amazing movie...Thank you for the video!
La pelicula Interestelar es ciencia ficción inteligente, con mucho sentimiento y visualmente hermosa y que decir de la canción fluye tan bien con las escenas que realmente lo hace bello. Buen trabajo;)
Really, really, really awesome job! I watch this a few times a week at least. I am a massive fan of M83, of science/technology, cosmology, astronomy, TARZ, and Interstellar. Honestly brings me almost to tears every time ;) Even Carl Sagan would've like this I reckon :D
I feel like all of my wants and needs and all of my hopes and dreams can come true whenever I watch this video and listen to this song. THANK YOU. You've given me hope in a situation that seems dark and lonely. For everyone out there who dreams about endless and beautiful possibilities: DO IT. DO IT IF YOU HAVE EVERYONE ON YOUR SIDE OR NO ONE AT ALL. DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY. IF YOU DON'T, YOU'RE NOT EVEN LIVING. LET'S LIVE.
+britbloc123 I felt it started slow but then really stretched the imagination of your mind, as he explored higher dimensions. I love movies that expand our consciousness of possibility in the universe. but to each their own :)
+Daniel Bortz I agree with you but I just felt it could have been better. I felt the beginning was a bit rushed, and the supporting characters weren't fleshed out enough. I've only seen it once, perhaps I should watch it again, my opinion may lean further towards yours :)
I'm the king of my own land Facing tempests of dust, I'll fight until the end Creatures of my dreams, raise up and dance with me Now and forever I'm your king
Beautiful edit to this wonderful song. Everytime i listen to it i get overwhelmed by my emotions. I can’t stop it. I guess this is what music is able to do. M83 is a genius. Nothing less. Thank you for all these wonderful songs.
Absolutely PHENOMENAL! That made me tear up while watching it. Superb editing all encompassed with a song that makes for an utterly poetic video. Bravo!
_I'm the king of my own land._ _Facing tempests of dust, I'll fight until the end._ _Creatures of my dreams raise up and dance with me !_ _Now and forever, I'm your king !_ ⚘
Wow this band is brilliant. I've never listened to any of their other songs just because Midnight City was so good, no I finally am and I got immediate lasting chills all over. Great video as well, one of my absolute favourite movies for what it means to me.
i can actually feel chills on my back which most of the time watching music and movies go together in edits doesn't happen but this...wow they go together so well
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I bought it the first day it came out, cried towards the end it hit me. This song should have been there somewhere
good job on the edit man, wow this is just a reminder of how superb space exploration is. Imagine how breathless, how wordless we would be if we were staring at the pillars of creation. I would loose my counciousness or I would become mad at the mere scene of my hand losing shape in the speed of light.
milton edward edward like in the movie "Contact" forgot the main character name but she said she can't explain what she saw instead she said that they should have send a poet instead of her.
THIS IS FOR ANYONE WHO HAS NOT SEEN INTERSTELLAR! This movie is one of, if not the best movie I've ever seen. It will change your perspective on the universe...
Now that's how you do it! Mix was perfect and reminds me how awesome the track and the movie is. They just flowed together seamlessly. I love it! Thanks for sharing.
Anybody who dislikes this song is not human because the way it makes you feel it's like your hollow nothing inside the depression is overwhelming if nobody can feel sad or depressed then you can't be happy because if you can't the sad then you can't be happy either. Also Amazing Work man great work 😀😀😀
This masterpiece is the best video I've ever seen. Peace, nostalgia and hope for my soul and through my veins in the highest level as could be possible, it makes you feel really alive, even in the worst moments. You have earned my respect, thank you so much for this.
This is exactly the way I´ve always imagined myself leaving earth behind... Arms wide open to the abyss of the unkown... What a great job you´ve just done with this video!
