Well fun fact every second in the scene where this song is used is to represent a year passing on Earth (my dumbass thought it was days) So I mean yeah it is designed/composed to go with a clock perfectly
An absolutely incredible piece of work. Fantastic musical score, and phenomenal cast that really makes you wonder "are they acting, or is this real?", and a riveting plot line that kept me glued to the edge of my seat. Just when you think it can't get any more intense, you realize that the director has decided to take this even farther. This film really was about taking a normal everyday occurrence, and making it as difficult as humanly possible. I literally could not have exited this parking stall with this level of creativity. Brilliant!
Daughter on the phone crying: "You once told me that by the time you came back we might be the same age. And today I'm the same age you were when you left. [crying] So it'd be a real good time for you to come back."
I just love the fact the musical climax is when the driver is literally in the stupidest position they could be in and they are literally not moving at all 2:36
I think they are neighbours so the black car's probably seen all sorts of crazy shit from this blue car. You just duck out the way and wait till the ghoul passes.
If this didn’t have the music, I wouldn’t be watching it. Hans Zimmer’s music makes life instances, like this one, even more intense and fascinating then they already are.
Memorax, she always steered towards the other cars. it's like she couldn't see the empty spaces. I'm surprised she can drive on the road without hitting the other cars. I guess it's just a matter of time.
Dan Phillips you have the answer. she selectively sees other cars. she is so good that with all those nail biting moments she didn't hit any of the cars. so she or he doesn't hit cars on the road. I think with all these discussion I find a lot of opportunity for us humans to research more on this video in the areas of psychology, optics, artificial intelligence, string theory and parallel universe.
its just lock focus, anxiety, and general lack of awareness. You are so stressed that your brain pattern is very inflexible and has very stubborn preset ideas about solutions. then you are so anxiety filled that when your ideas arent working, you get even more anxious and stubbornly persist instead of relaxing and allowing new creative solutions to enter. in short, she is probably very stressed at least on that particular day.
drchen054 i wish people would understand that not everything that looks incompetent it's due to stupidity. Everyone has suffered this feeling sometime in their life yet we're quick to just crap on people like they're a different species. Empathy is truly something being lost online
Barrettfloyd82 If those are the lines then the person who drew them was spinning also, not the same width on them, it almost seem like a haunted place. The Bermuda parking square where everyone lose their sanity.
WellJamedToast that driver actually caused all this trouble. If it wasnt for him, the escape would have been succesful first try. That Jeep driver should hand over his license and get his abilities checked
Christian Even you are right on the jeep driver but i hope you also joking on the blue car driver. I mean i can do that in less than 1 minute. Lol. The first try was a failed. The second try, i thought he or she gonna make it but not until seconds later i was like what the heck??? Really?? Whyy?? Lmao
The true brilliance of it is that she: 1) Doesn't finish turning the wheel before she starts moving, so the car isn't turning nearly as much as it could be. 2) Didn't just back into the space behind the yellow Jeep-looking thing and then pull-out forward when that would've been the easiest option. 3) Didn't think to use the grass to give her extra room to get the front-end turned. 4) Didn't try backing into the freshly opened space to then pull-out forwards from there. No, instead of all that, she does this weird Austin Powers maneuver in the tightest part of the area she had to turn around in.
There's a few reasons for this. One of them is that in Poland, during driving license school and exam it's forbidden to turn steering wheel when stationary. You'll get a warning and eventually fail the exam if did twice. They state that this is to avoid excessive tyres wear, so when doing a maneuver, car wheels must be in motion. And while technically this is true, sometimes, in reality, you can get into some tight spots that'll require that "forbidden" thing. On this video you have a perfect example why one shouldn't obey everything they tell you in driving school in Poland. Same is true with "eco-friendly driving". You're expected to drive on highest gear possible at all times; bit too high engine rev's, and - you've guessed it, a warning. In Poland majority still drive on manual gearbox and I would guess that learning schools don't even have their cars with automatic. Moreover you can't use your own car to learn and go to exam (at least if you're not handicapped and don't have to have specially equipped vehicle). It is worth noting that _majority_ of drivers in Poland, especially those with long driving experience, would most probably failed the exam, especially if taken without preparation. Exam is usually so synthetic and unrealistic here, that actually you'll eventually learn to drive AFTER you pass the tests, provided you're not a total moron that shouldn't be allowed to drive in the first place. Yes, they usually pass the exam...
@ My car, my tyres - if situation requires it I'll do it. There's a slight difference between suggesting something and forcing it. It's like burnouts, they wear tyres too and overstresses other parts, yet people still do them if they want to. Same applies for eco driving; it's all eco-BS. While ecodriving you use bit less fuel, but your engine is stressed and wear is higher than typical (eg. glazing). That'll lead to higher engine oil burn and can result in premature components failure. Not very ecological, when for a 1-2 litres/100 km you produce worse pollution (gasoline burns cleaner than oil) and additional waste (used parts and fluids for utilisation). While I know it's important to teach new drivers about these things, it's crucial to make them aware of "what and why", and not "just because". They need to understand what are ups and downs of such usage and what impact it may have on surrounding, not simply forcing them to do it "your" way.
I don’t think we are that much better, she spent four minutes trying to get out of the parking lot, yet it took everyone who watches the whole video and commenting more than four minutes for the stupid shit she did.
Blue car: Zero parking skills Yellow jeep: Parked mostly on the grass White van: Parked cross ways over the parking spaces Every other car: Parked ON the lines and not IN the parking spaces. Pub parking lot on "3 for 1 Friday"?
when you watching video that showing people had no skill on parking, litteraly inside the frame of video had no idea how to park normally ... what a plot..
*By the time she finished parking, a couple of years would have passed for us. While we would have aged or even died, she would only be a couple of hours older than she was before her 'parking' mission. The speed at which her car is travelling slows down her time, since we are stationary our time ticks faster.* 👉 _Einstein's Special Relativity at work._
Yes. Hans Zimmer composed the music that way on purpose for the film, which was all about Time. It wasn't an accident. ps there's no singing, it's not a "song" :)
Many of you are pointing at the yellow Jeep outside the parking area. If that Jeep was in its correct spot Hans Zimmer would be composing music till death for this lady.
