Del talks about the history of Delkim and what has made it the success it is today. He talks about how he got into fishing and how he invented the worlds best bite alarm which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2017.
Congratulations on reaching the 25th anniversary. I remember them coming out. Not a lot of people actually remember that the first ones had the white dials. I had to save up for a while but, eventually I replaced my old Optonics with Delkims in 94. I still own them and they still work exactly like the day they were bought. They would still be my main alarms had I not have been seduced by a set of TXI's. I really would not consider buying alarms from any other company. I love the features and the sensitivity when needed. However the real clincher for me is your legendary customer service. Not that I have personally ever needed customer service. Its the reassurance of knowing that it is there if needed which keeps me 100% loyal. Speaking to other Delkim users I know many of them feel exactly the same.
Four comments in 6 years . This man and kim are legends . Had my txis for years and have never let me down . Last week i was fishing at dents farm and it started chucking it down so switch on my rx pro and ran 30 yards to shelter under a tree. 5 minutes later my left rod scream off the reel hit the bankstick and flattened it as i got to my swim i watched my rod n reel disappearing into the lake . Without a thought i dove in head first swiping frantically to locate the rod under the water which i now know is about 6 inches deeper than i am tall.😮 Could not find the rod after a few dives under . Dragged myself out drenched grabbed my right rod and began casting and draggin the lead and managed to hook it and get it in and play the fish which was now in a snag which snapped me up in the end 😂. Thinkin i had a result getting my rod n reel back which i did . I thought wheres my rx pro receiver which was in my big front hoodie pocket with my vape and phone and im sure i must have been wearing my sunglases when i dove in and were gone too . Luckily my fone was still in the pocket and water proof. But glasses vape and receiver were gone and the fish and by the way it took every thing out must have been a lump . So to cut a very long story not short at all i lost my rx pro which is now discontinued 😢. But was very much loved . Thanks again del 👍good luck with all your fishing 👍
best bite alarm ever made, I prefer the last models shape and design, I hope u will change the look of them soon cos the shape at the moment is so dated and lumpy!!!!
