Goldie - Lola Da Musica 1996 Lola Da Musica is a dutch tv-program about music and artists; this '96 episode is about jungle / dnb producer Goldie due to the release of his Timeless album
Was this filmed in the early hours after a rave or something lol. He seems to be at that point where you've still got those deeper thoughts bouncing around your mind, but with an undercurrent of comedown melancholy starting to creep in, along with a cheeky little jaw clench.
Been near 20 years and it's funny everything he said has turned true today in some degree. Smart guy really rough background I'm glad he kept his head above water.
+OUTSS1 why do you have to point that out ? i dont get it ... what are you trying to say? i am cringed out by people saying something ? nice comment ... very useful what a statement. "the drug addicts talk about drugs in the comments under a dnb video because dnb is good music and not just for drug addicts. and that makes me angry !"
Goldie , one of the most legendary producer of Jungle/ Drum'n'Bass , Metalheadz massive , his "Timeless" album is a masterpiece ! Respect ! THX ( France / BZH / 56)
Really thanks for this video. Does anyone maybe know the live performance that was showed or any other real Godie show from the time? Date? Video's? Info? Agan, thanks for the inteview, it inspired me! Cheers!
It’s difficult to say I could be wrong but I don’t recall ever seeing goldie play at any of the big raves with the other big dj’s like Andy c etc at one nation or telepathy at the time I never had a tape pack that had a goldie set on. I think at that time goldie might have just been doing metalheadz only parties but I don’t even recall many flyers from the time so I am confused as well at where these parties were that he dj’d at back in those days. If anyone could say whether I’m correct with the above. Did goldie ever do a one nation or helter skelter etc?
chunkycake101 okay radio 1 isn’t a good example they are still shite. Where’s this amazing underground drum and bass where do I find it? I hope you don’t point me to one of those pirate stations that play that darkcore nonsense!
