Mark Pope cant say the phrase "incredibly aggressive on offensive" enough. Nothing against Cal but watching us take the air out of the ball anytime we have a +5 point lead in the second half of games is a thing of the past and im just grateful!
BBN give Pope the benefit of doubt don't try and run him out the door be positive not negative give the coach a chance and stop criticizing we will be okay we will get to the top of that mountain again let's do it the right way so just be patient BBN very important
Look guys every coach that we went after Harley drew Donovan they all had their lumps before they got big Coach Pope WILL have a few lumps but he was Coached by Rick which is a hall-of-famer
I found out today Reed Shepherd is in the NBA Draft. Big mistake for his name not for his wallet. He could be legion in Kentucky or just another player in the NBA.
Leaves BYU like a thief in the night without so much as a goodbye or a thank you. Wish him luck, but a lot of people lost a lot of respect for you, coach.
The Calipari era had run its course. We weren't fun to watch anymore! The excitement you're seeing is the release of a pent-up frustration that MANY fans have been feeling for far too long. Onward and upward! Go Cats!!
Just be happy for a couple weeks dude, jeez. You can’t just be happy with everyone for a little while? It’s our first new coach in 15 years, yes that’s a big deal
Ask him why he didn’t bother saying thank you to his BYU fan base on the way out the door. Is that the right example? Will recruits or transfers be treated that way too? Red flag
My god calling every little thing a red flag is a monster red flag. He said he loved every place he coached. Also expecting someone to thank you because they moved onto a job is entitled delusional nonsense of the highest order.
As a BYU fan I can attest that he’s not really said any sort of thanks to the fans. Even in the interview he used “we” but didn’t refer to “BYU” at all. I’m not really hurt or offended but do find it a little disappointing. That said, he brought a lot of energy and some great moments to BYU fans. I was really hoping BYU would be able to win a tournament game with him at the helm but oh well. I was completely shocked when he was hired and hope the best for him and Big Blue. It would be great to see him succeed in his dream job. And I can’t blame him for taking this job. I do feel a little bad for UK basketball fans where it took more time than it should have to get a basketball coach. I’d hope that when there’s a need to hire a UK coach, the first choice is the best choice and the one that accepts. It’s definitely an elite job; no question. Again, I wish the best for Pope and UK.
@@Waterboyofsuperman sorry he didn’t say anything to you BYU fans. That’s not very becoming. It’s cool having a former player back home but as a head coach it’s odd considering he’s not accomplished very much as a coach.
