The best thing I've seen on youtube. What a great man, in addition to being one of the greatest musical geniuses. May your soul rest in eternal peace dear Paco. I hope to join you one day and listen to the music you've been playing with the angels.
The Legend , the Original , the Greatest , the Purest , the most inspiring, the Best , the unrepeatble , the most professional that the flamenco world seen ever, he is the Flamenco , The PACO DE LUCIA
We all are lucky to have lived at Paco de Lucia time. A unique guitar genius. Amazing interview resume. This is how genius think. They never get satisfied and they keep on working. This is an inspiration for the rest of human beings. RIP
I wish I had known flamenco before paco de lucia died.. I'm 30 and aspiring to learn flamenco guitar at this age. Never played guitar before but flamenco and especially Paco made me fall in love with it. Thank you Paco, wherever you are.
Great great interview. Me playing the guitar for 52 years , Paco is just right about anything he says. It is so true! Everyday is different. The guitar has its own soul and it is impossible to control it. I miss Paco dearly!😥
@chilatelover@@joshbeldo4435 (Not criticising) There have been several documentals explaining how when Paco was young he moved to New York with his brother for several years while starting out his professional career
Gracias Paco!!!!
The alzapua is basically the same rhythm as Gypsy jazz picking or Mapuche picking with more emphasis on the striking with a downpicking on a new string
Lol, it's so funny to see that he was never satisfied with his playing. Well, I guess that's one of the reasons why he was so good. He always wanted to improve.
5:15 I know what he is talking about. Something sounds great one day and the next day you laugh at it thinking you must have been stoned liking it. In some cases i was.. just like Paco probably as i'm sure he smoked some too maybe here and there 7:24 . The inspiration you get while smoking is incredible. But you have to be serious about it. Unfortunately the sober mind and the stoned one have 2 different opinions. Also recording what you found inspirational is important as you forget the next day what you were doing. Just hope you like it the next day or are able to use it.
