President Tolbert was killed with the blessing of the Liberian people. President Tolbert was the greatest President of Liberia. We should build a memorial to honor him and the legacy he was trying to build for Liberia and West Africa. Liberia will never developed until we pray and seek his blessing and forgiveness. President William R Tolbert will live forever so Liberia will live forever.

Hope Africans told the West that they would never develop until they prayed and sought the forgiveness of their forebears whom they enslaved. The former late great President Tolbert was an unfortunate victim of a concatenation of historical events. Be that as it may, we should memorialize and pray for the souls of all of our people who died because of greed, jealousy, discrimination, oppression, resistance and other socioeconomic and political vices. That should include those who died on April 12, 1979; April 12, 1983, and the wars from 1990-2003. No Liberian soul lost to senseless brutality was better than the others.

I hope the lesson has been progressively learnt, l really hopped so. I have never recovered from this tragedy. I lost loved ones after his Excellency was butchered by the ones he so loved. I am still in exile in Australia. I really hope for a meaningful reconciliation for the sake of everyone. I never though l will ever live my country Liberia, the love of Liberty should bring us together. We are all a mixed people in Liberia. I am at loss with all the insultsgoing and coming from the Liberian who should know better. Let's hope.

Good presentation, good vision for his people and country. Sadly he failed the relationship of international political practice. President Tolbert quickly forgot how Tubman was solid with the US and other pro US allied countries for 27 years while President Tolbert embraced Russia and China growing influence in Africa which should have been carefully played.

He was in fact a good man and a huge asset Liberia lost in the name of hatred and greediness. His death has slowed the country's development scheme. I hate to see this between Liberians and amongst black people in general. We are quick to forget America's and the white man's participation and contributions to the divisiveness among our people. Colonialism is the root of our problems, yet and instead, we will fight and kill each other without understanding how things came to be. Liberian people need to unify, be morally and ethically responsible, and do what's best for the people and the country. I love our people as a whole, no matter what ethnic group you identify with.
