I agree with John Miller, It pisses me right off when people make childish noises for their own gratification when I've paid good money and want to listen to a performance from the artist ONLY, plus I want to heare it ALL not just the bits where the audience shut up.
much as im a fan of paloma, i think i speak for a large slice of uk audiences who are........ REALLY fucked off with all the whooping during songs by US audiences. not everything is made better by a WHOO!! but sometimes not talking, filming, or acting like a twat during a musical performances is actually better for your fellow audience members, and less fistfights occur. all the best paloma, you are fab.
