As a Dorking fan; I feel compelled to say that Chesterfield FC and their fans are a class act - they will be Champions soon and Paul Cook’s gracious comments about Mark White and Wanderers today was an example of all that is good in football. Paul is a winner - fiercely competitive - he is clearly feeling the real pain of losing right now and yet with ease and sincerity, he showed total respect for his opponent after the game. I hope CFC win the league by the biggest margin ever; if such a feat remains possible.
Dorking fan here. Thought Paul Cook was spot on in this interview. Chesterfield are still by far the best side in this division and will rightfully be crowned champions this season. Remember, very few teams walk this league so this season is some achievement for them. What a performance by us today though! Amazing result!

Perspective is desperately required. We have not turned up for only 3 games this season in the league. We have played 36. We have won 27. The staff and players have earnt the odd off day. The only people allowed a critical opinion are those who travelled to Dorking and had a tough day watching. Full marks to everyone concerned with what we have achieved so far and let’s get our season over the line soon.
We've been a bit off it lately though or don't you agree? Still going up regardless but we have started to ship avoidable goals again like we did early on in the season, pretty confident this will be addressed in the summer though

We can hardly moan. Having a 'blip' while we're 23 points clear is the point at which it is O.K. to have one. As Paul said, they've built up their credits for times like this.

a poor day at the office but I do think Liam needs to take down his player ratings, sleep on it and try again. We were awful no doubt. Will we still win the title? Of course we will. Was that tough to watch? Yes it was ( except for those idiots who never left the bar and probably think they are hardcore ). 13 hours of my life I won't get back but it will be a footnote once the title is lifted. It wouldn;t surprise me if Cookie rings the changes big time for the next game to show people that level is simply not acceptable though. Anyone booing or calling for players/manager to be replaced needs to get a grip. #COYB

He's changed the team nearly every game this season. Rediculous comment, was a bad game without a doubt... but criticising Paul Cook for changing the team round is laughable 😂
I hear & understand what you're saying, personally, man management, to give the players some credit for their own intelegence. I honestly think we would have got closer last season if Spireites had gone to West Brom in FA Cup with the strongest team & given it a real go, after that the team fell away to some poor results. Today James Berry right centre when he's been coming in on the left and netting goals. ? Managers have egos also, I don't think changing a proven wining team or formula helps. Just imo ... but I'm only a supporter.

Accept you made the wrong selection and changes including their timing instead of praising the opposition. Too easy pal to pass the responsibility. Negativity = justified criticism which you don’t seem to grasp. In a league where we’re head and shoulders above the rest financially and in squad numbers we’re likely to come down with a bump in L2 if this continues
