I’m super late to the party, but Sam and the rest of the band is responsible for getting me back into music recently, and specifically metalcore, which led to me finding you guys, Polaris (my new favourites), and everyone else in the community. I have the upmost respect for bands who continue to evolve past the comfort zone and what has "worked" for them in the past. I just don't get fans who want the same album over and over and over again. Thrice is the perfect example. Favorite Band of all time!

Loved this interview with Sam and his insight on music was great, he was very on point, you guys make listening to music more enjoyable, this channel is the best thing I've found in a long while! People who like to hate on bands for trying new things with their sound need to grow up. Either don't listen to it or accept that change is necessary to be more creative. Spotify Wrapped is always screwed up for me at the end of the year.. because I listen to my christmas playlist for the whole month of december lol

Sooo I love this fucking Album. So dope to hear a random Blegh again from the Man! BUT! I really respect why he was so put off from it after so long.. Tom passing was hard for us as fans, Imagine Dan, Sam and the rest of the guys. Fans are only talking about the Noise, and making Memes of it.. When Dan and The band are trying to pour their heart out for us and themselves, because they are broken D: I totally fucking get it and I've loved these last two albums so much guys.. Awesome interview. Sam seems like a really cool and sensible dude. You guys made some very good and much-needed points about bands changing their sounds and the sometimes irrational reactions of some fans. Some people seem to think that their favourite bands and artists owe them something, and that they've somehow been betrayed if an artist goes in a direction that isn't exactly what they wanted. Obviously this is absurd. Artists can and will make the music that they want to make. If some fans don't like it, they can simply listen to something else. There's no need to hate. (Personally, I think the new Architects record is fantastic.)

Great interview, can't say the same for the album though. Good lord they've gone so down hill.

I have mad respect for Sam and Architects, I just cannot get into their new music regardless of how many times I listen to it. I thought Holy Hell was a phenomenal album but since it just feels like an entirely different band. The same goes with the new album, which I actually disliked more than the last album. I wish the guys luck with their future albums but I'll stick with their older work, which I still listen to nearly each day.

YES! So happy you guys got to talk with Sam! I'm quite a new Architects fan (Holy Hell was my first album that I listened to of theirs) but I love all the changes they've done throughout the years new album is a monster and I really enjoy it! Props to Sam and the band for doing what they want and wearing what they want great interview guys!

A music video can deeply shape how you feel about a song. I love The Thread by TDWP but that MV is so weird. It sounds so different when I listen to it with the video, but I love hearing it when I drive my car.

I very much enjoyed this talk. All your recent interviews have been great. I agree with that i can't understand why people start hating on bands once they become big when this is all they wanted. And it really is a gateway to heavier music...Without bring me and architects i would not listen to metalcore now. I remember listening to the heavier bring me stuff and was like, nope thats too heavy. Few years later i barley listen to the songs that got me into metal,too soft 😆 I listen to metal daily now and that's thanks to metal bands that became more mainstream. Especially Architects and BMTH. People just need to stop hating. Don't like it. Don't listen. And as you guys said... I'll see you at the concert anyway 🤣 was great to hear Sam appreciating your channel, i totally agree with what he said. Keep doing this 🖤🤘

Gotta say that their latest album was their weakiest in my opinion, but these guys will always have a place in my heart and I'll probably will follow Sam always on social media. He's just doing so much great stuff.
