I know coach Charles from the 90's, he was our teams head coach, he took us to Biloxi to win the Gulf states championships, we had a great team with lots of memories. I also had the pleasure to take my son with him, and trained with him. We are from Houston, so I drove to Austin to get a workout and do that regularly.

Ezzard Charles died in 1975.

Ezzard Charles died at 53 in 1975 from Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS-amnyotrophic lateral sclerosis, if I spelled it right). His record was 95wins, 15losses, & 1draw. This video is apparently bullshit. I met him (wheel chair bound) in Jan.1974. I say this is some phony post being shown.

There are so many historical inconsistencies in this video. Marciano beat Joe Walcott for the title not Charles, he did defend his title against Charles though twice. He fought Charles in 1954 I think not the 60s, Marciano retired in 1956 and Charles and Charles retired in either 1958 or 59. Neither of them fought in the 1960s
