Lucy, you do more to effectively market Virgin's product then any six figure Marketing Manager in their corporate offices. They should authorize you to interview the captain, cooks, servers, the entire crew. As the public get to know your team, the more comfortable they will be with sailing with your company.
I've said this too... This young lady is the BEST PR REP Virgin Voyages could have!!! (While there's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG with being a contracted 'Shoppie', I can't help but feel that Virgin are missing a trick by not fully engaging with her and perhaps developing her talents on the PR/Advertising side of their business...) Lucy's videos really promote Virgin Voyages as a brand. Her interviews showcase the companies progressive attitude with regard to their staff. Despite SERIOUSLY LONG working hours, adequate if not awesome pay and certain necessary controls on crew-members activities, her interviewees seem really happy to be doing the work they do. When you consider that Lucy's video vlogs are very much a 'one woman show', (including concept, recording, directing, presenting, writing and editing) she really produces excellent, informative and entertaining content. If I WAS involved in Virgin Voyages Marketing/Promo team I'd DEFINITELY have her in for a chat! (Before somebody else does!!!) xx SF

When I got out of massage school I looked into going on some of the lines. However I talked to some people and they kind of told me the same thing all they care about is for you to sell stuff not really about giving a good massage. Then the long days and low money next to what you can make land side I walked away from trying it. sounds like I made the right call!
Massage therapists make a lot more money on ships than hairdressers. Most people get their hair done before going away so hairdressers are often quiet (except for up dos on formal night) but so many people want a relaxing massage while they’re away.
S future video about what would be the best paying jobs along with the pains that would be inherit to them. Captain and his staff excluded. BTW hair looks fabulous.

How long would it take and about how much does it cost on a cruise ship to get a platinum blonde root touch up from very dark brown? (Virgin hair / root touch up only / purple toner all over to finish out) i get so nervous to go to hairdressers I’ve never met but I also feel like it would just be so relaxing on the ship (my hair salon still had mask mandates so i can’t really relax or eat or drink or post too much and it can be hard to hear each other)

The hair-stylist/colourist has a very strong North Irish accent which can be difficult to understand if you haven't heard it before. (Though that didn't stop the TV show 'Derry Girls' from being an international hit!!!!) xx SF
