Academy Award winning Italian director Paolo Sorrentino (The Consequences of Love, The Family Friend, Il Divo, The Great Beauty) talks to Adrian Wooton about his career to-date and his new film Youth (2015), starring Rachel Weisz, Michael Caine and Harvey Keitel.

Fascinating interview, best one in English with Paolo. @George aye - Keep it simple?! Nooooo! The translator seems to be doing a great job here. The conversation flows well and Paolo seems genuinely engaged.

Il DIvo is one of the most beautiful Movie EVER. But it is necessary to know very well the history of that italian period. So you must read 'In God's Name' written by David Yallop.

La lingua inglese è poverissima e spesso non conosce le sfumature. Possiamo pure accettarla come lingua franca "tecnica", ma, per carità, non come lingua franca "artistica".

webteamz “L’inglese è una lingua poverissima” Letteralmente una delle lingue con più vocaboli al mondo. “Non va bene come lingua artistica” Letteralmente ha regalato alcuni tra i migliori artisti della parola della storia dell’umanità.
