I wonder what it must be like going through life THAT good looking..... He handles it well, doesn't actually like it when folk talk / joke about it too much..... good for him. Try this.....If you close your eyes, he's STILL attractive. Polite, friendly, well spoken, upbeat...... nice bloke
Aiden is not that GOODLOOKING, if you are basing your fantasy on that Luke Norris is the man and he is an intelligent writer not only a good actor, intelligent enough to give an accurate, intelligent, description of his character.
I read all the Poldark books in the 1970s. Watched the original Poldark series. Have re-read the books multiple times and watched my DVDs of this new series several times. Great books, great show, brilliant acting. And since I'm old enough to be Mum to most of the actors, I'll happily just adopt them all
Dianne, I have read the books, watched the 1970s adaptation and watched the current adaptation as well. I too am old enough to be the mom of all the actors. Lol I love Eleanor as Demelza. Her transformation from urchin to Lady is perfect. The entire cast is exceptional. Love the words of Winston Graham most of all.
Even after all this time that the drama Poldark has ended Aidan Turner has never been out of my mind.He has completely taken over my day to day night to night thoughts.I think besotted sums up my feelings about him.Even more after I had a photo taken with him at comic con two years ago.Handsome enigmatic being that close to him literally made me go weak at the knees.Over the top you might say but it's true that man has it all god love him I no I do.💕💘😍xxxxx
What hat? I'm to busy watching and listening to Aidan to be bothered about him wearing a hat. I wouldn't turn his hat down if he offered it to me lol. I'd snuggle into it 😉
Poldark is Aidan s best success yes but he has done more great roles ever since any way i enjoyed listening to him even though after seven years he is a different man
He is a great character actor and playing James Bond will just spoil it! His acting of Leonardo very, very good. He is a perfect actor for true characters of substance. Not many movies around nowadays with roles like that unfortunately.
Bond movies are a genre all their own. Aidan played that character on And Then There Were None well. He certainly could do a Bond but the script would have to be strong.
The part that Debbie has done a great part on the script is TOTAL BS, Debbie Horseface has ruined this production with her lack of writing skills and deminishing the heroine who ( in my opinion) is the jewel in the crown. Aidens character is suppose to be the hero, but his character is a ooc swashbuckler, adulter, bastard maker with his wifes nemesis and cousins former wife and the trenwith COURTESAN. This production of fiction is nothing but a MYSOGINIST twisted way of defaming women who in his sick mind rejected him and instead of seeking help to address the issue, he wrote a series of unmitigated rubbish to make a male MYSOGINIST a hero, yet the bloke has the character, trust morals, and loyalty of a rabid wolf. With a fiction such as this, Alist intelligent, successful literary writers are needed, this production was anemic in that catagory making this already unrealistic, woman bashing, morally bankrupt, fiction a disgrace to the art form, the production should have been preceded by a warning of it's content, because this sick, twisted, glamourization of adultry, disrespect for the sanctity of marriage and family and lauding over the adulter and adultrous as victims instead of the disgusting, evil, immoral sewage these old seasoned animals are is insane and an affront to society not to mention insult mothers and daughters all over the world making a anemic story line to keep the heroine who is young, strong, progressive, intelligent and loyal, having unwarrantly experienced the lowest act any husband could do to his wife and family stay with this human stain is not only ludacrist, inhumane, and unrealistic, it shows the faux WRITER is out of her league and selfloathing, there is no marriage after such animalistic behavior and to try to sell a rancid corpse is just plain stupid.
I have come to the conclusion that Ernestine is very young and or somewhat lacking in intelligence. An 18th century, virginal, young woman is not a courtesan. Winston Graham wrote strong female characters and based Demelza on his own wife so I do not believe he was a misogynist. It is true that some couples divorce after adultery but this was not an option for an 18th century woman who had no legal identity at all! There are lots of people who love each other and manage to forgive and move on after adultry and learn from their mistakes. People are flawed; no one is perfect. To err is human to forgive is divine. I speak as a woman married 33+ years to a handsome man with dark, curly hair although it's not as dark and not nearly as curly as it once was! If you hate the show so much, why watch it and write horrid, disparaging remarks? ✌ and 💘
