Bob Gurr is such a treasure. To many of us, Walt Disney is almost a mythical man and to be able to hear first hand from a man that worked so closely with Walt is such a blessing. I hang on every word he says (no matter how wacky he may be at some times!)

Thank you Bob Gurr, for your amazing monorail designs. Even the Mark 1 still looks futuristic!! The current Mark 7 is the most sleek and beautiful in the world. No one else has one that even comes close! It's been and honor and a thrill to ride them both on the west coast and east coast!

Dude, I am not through this yet, but really good. I worked at Disney for 16 years and have heard countless Walt stories... but NEVER a Walt restroom story. So funny. He didn't wash his hands? Tisk tisk.

Such an interesting fact that walt visited Pittsburgh PA in January 1966...I live around the corner from the Westinghouse R&D facility that he toured...I can see it from my house..its currently abandoned....such an amazing and talented man...thanks for this interview!

I am GOBSMACKED! Listening to Bob Gurr's clarity and history is incredible. I've heard from several of the "Nine Old Men" back in the 70s (The Tomorrow Show), but it sounds like Bob could run circles around them.

If my dad had lived, he would be Bob’s age. That was an amazing generation. My own father was coming up with unique ways to solve problems. We couldn’t afford carpet so he found an outdated book of sample carpet and put it all together in a patchwork rug. He used cement test cylinders as award winning landscaping. As a family, we loved Disneyland. We lived 2 hours away and it was our family vacation every year. My dad and mom moved to Calif in 1956. (I wasn’t born until later). I have pics of the old Disneyland. I loved all the stories Bob shared and very happy you captured it on film. He truly is a legend and a treasure. Thank you, Justin.

justin .. bob tossed out a challenge to you and your fans ... you need to pursue the 150 things he did and find out what he is most proud of ... he wants to make sure his legacy is not just disney but rather all that he has accomplished especially non disney ... help him to document these 150 plus 100 accomplishments ... you are the right one to do this

I was kinda like Bob as a kid (although I've as yet not lived an as amazing life) unfortunately rather than get me an erector or meccanno set my parents bought me a Junior woodworking set which resulted in me sawing through Mums dining room table when I was about 6. Did genunely love this as he's a hell of an intresting guy, unfortunately I'm still suffering with perpetual brokeness right now but if I can in the future I will look into joining and importing some of that sick merch (or anything Dr Pepper or Gumball machine related if you find it for the store).
