Nemtsov was quite the man. Quite the great, brave and intelligent man. Obviously a threat to Putin who is less than a man, much less.

"I'm an opponent of revolutions and a supporter of peaceful change." - Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov was shot dead on the evening of February 27, 2015, as he was walking with his Ukrainian girlfriend along Bolshoi Moskvoretsky Bridge in central Moscow, just feet away from the Kremlin.

Nemtsov's murder is a horrible crime perpetrated literally at the Kremlin wall. This shows already that the killers were not afraid of any real punishment and my assessment is that they were either KGB (FSB) people or those somehow connected with them. The fact that the police still cannot find them and do not even have the clue is clear evidence that they will never find the true killers and who hired them, because they acted on the instructions of the top-ranked officials from the Kremlin. Just several days before the assassination, Boris Nemtsov described Putin as "huilo" (if you know what this obscene word means in Russian - probably the closest English equivalent is "motherfucker") because he helps militants in Ukraine with arms supplies used to kill our Ukrainian brothers. Boris Nemtsov was a friend of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people and he was probably murdered by the same criminals who are now raping the east of Ukraine. I deeply mourn the death of Boris, because I met him in person when he was still a governor of Nizhny Novgorod and I know his older sister Julia very well and also his daughter Zhanna (who was the guest of the same people in California who invited me to work for them in the US back in 1996 - she was then a 13-year-old teenager) and I also know his nephew). They are all a very intelligent Jewish-Russian family. Originally they came from Sochi. So please let all people in the West know that we are 100% sure: his murderers are part of the same criminal organization (Cheka, NKVD, KGB, FSB) that is responsible for the Red terror in 1917-1922, with the family of the Annointed Emperor Nicholas II being among their first victims, followed by the brutal murder and persecution of all Russian nobility who had to flee to France and other countries. The same evil spirits later instigated Holodomor, having starved to death 7 million Ukrainian and Russian peasants; the same organization is reponsible for all GULAG victims, many of the war victims. Overall they have already murdered more than 60 million of their own people and yet that organization has never been prosecuted and condemned by the international court, though they are as evil as German Nazi and they are still in power at present, raping Russia. The same people are now ripping off Ukraine and among their last victims have been Galina Starovoytova, Anna Politkovskaya (exposing the horros of Chechnya), Yuri Shchekochikhin, Yushenkov, and now Boris Nemtsov, God bless his soul and forgive all his sins! Putin's thugs blew up a number of houses not far from the place where I live in Moscow, to justify their invasion of Chechnya and the bloodbath there - they were caught red-handed in Ryazan where they were putting sacks with explosives into a residential building's cellar and then produced their KGB ID papers, then they ripped off Chechnya, invaded Georgia and now wreak havoc in Ukraine. They killed Litvinenko in central London with nukes, because he exposed the truth about FSB blowing up apartment buildings in Moscow. They poisoned the hostages at Dubrovka with gas, along with terrorists, they killed hundreds of kids in Beslan, Ossetiya, while letting the terrorists escape. And they murder every prominent person, opposing or exposing Putin. So the only question is: who will be the next? As my friend Vladimir Ryzhkov put it in the wake of Nemtsov's assassination, no politician is secure unless he or she is a political prostitute of Putin's clique. Russia is fast turning into a realm of morons, thugs and gangsters, with valorous dwarf at the helm, the kleptofascist regime being too mild a characteristic. But ye, sons insolent and shameless-- Defamers, faithless fathers, ye! Who trod the pure soul of another Beneath your feet, who zealously Press to the Tsar's throne with your driveling For fame and freedom, hatred steeled! Well may you sneer at truth and justice, The law provides you screen and shield, Only a higher law shall sentence! A mighty Judge beyond assail Avenge Boris Nemtsov's death on his slayers, The Highest Judge who does not fail! So then calumniate with brazen courage, Your hatred's fury nought restrains-- Since your dark blood could ne'er atone for One drop within Nemtsov's pure veins. Mikhail Lermontov, cannot be more relevant in describing the death of Boris Nemtsov! I only replaced the word “poet” with “Boris Nemtsov”.

At 4:10 Nemtsov says "It's difficult and risky to be the opposition in an authoritarian system". So the reporter then asks him "Are you afraid that something will happen to you?" And he replies "Living in Russia and being afraid go together. If I was afraid I would have left." Do those two sentences next to each other make sense? I think something got lost in the translation.

By some 'strange coincidences' he was shot by 4 people... Putin must have been very sad when he received the 4 phone calls confirming he was dead, well for an hour he cried. As the president for life, Putin now has even more Freedom to do what he wants. Well that's such a tragedy, he will send flowers to the victim's family.

@vorjay Garry Kasparov is in my oppion a Russian hero. Garry Kasparov deserves respect because he is considered the greatest chess champion in history and won many victories in the chess world for Russia. Chess is a game that demands a high degree of intelligence to play and win. Boris Nemtsov was a part of the last corrupt government of Boris Yeltsin that is true but so is Vladimir Putin. Unlike Vladimir Putin, Boris Nemtsov has no blood of his fellow Russians on his hands. Vladimir Putin sucks

One of the greatest men in history, Thomas Jefferson, said that, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure." Those are simple words but they form a POWERFUL message. The coalition of all that seek freedom are planning & mobilizing RIGHT NOW. One way or another, we will have peace in Russia and hopefully, one day, I will be able to finally go back & visit family again like I used to.

@RoyalistCavalier Garry Kasparov isn't Russian. He was born in the Soviet Republic of Armenia. Kasparov is hated by the majority of the electorate do to his political choices, even by the liberals. Nemtsov certainly does have blood on his hands, he was one of the main instigators of Russia's economic, 'shock therapy' that landed Russia's businesses in the hands of these corrupt people to begin with. You cant put a number on the deaths and hardship that poor economic policy has caused.
