Ukraine has been routing out pro-Russian traitors and/or corrupt elements within its political infrastructure for very good reason. I would imagine some are not even in opposition. The country is at war (not of its own volition) and therefore naturally is under martial law, under which fair and democratic elections are impossible and so must be paused. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible...

What conflict? Or do you mean the russian invasion due to which Ukraine finds herself in a war now for over a year? Did you know, that countrys regulate the processing of mandatory election in times of war by law? And that it is absolutely common sense, that proper elections are likely to be successfully organised in peace-times and not, while you are fighting and invading foreign army that occupies parts of your country and bombs your population constantly?

Where did you get this "information", Ukraine government has jailed it's opposition? This makes no sense in a parlamentary democracy - is this difficult for you to imagine? Please share the source/link of your "information" on this for transparency and fact-checking. Thank you.
