This is exactly how I think about piano and rhythm and playing instruments! Thank God I'm not crazy - someone else thinks this way too. And I'm moving onto drums now. They are cake if you think of them like a piano. Dino rocks.
i really dont think there is a name for that song as of yet. been followin these guys since 2000 and that beat doesnt not sound familiar at all. but maybe it will end up on the new album. but am sure it was just a jam session for the sound check in this video. but i feel ya!! i like listening to that part of the video over and over
What kind of cymbals does he use?! He's definately a groovy drummer very entertaining to watch live... but anyone know what cymbal set up he has.. especially his hi-hats.
oh i know the end of the segment is bug eyes, am talkin bout 2:38 - 3:51 that sh*t is just insane. if you know that jam sequence from any of the 3 albums that would be cool... i appreciate the look out
How he plays is like an oppositon to what he plays. Hes doing really nice things on the drums and i like his ideas, but technically he looks like he plays for 2 weeks or something :D Pls dont get me wrong! I really like what he does. My only problem is how he does it. (my wrist really hurst while iam watching this xD)
@Uhnusual snare is tilted towards him so there can't be so hard rimshots. but in the fact that he has no relevant technique his hits can destroy everything^^
