Newly appointed CEO of CrossFit LLC, Don Faul, sat down for a conversation with Stephane Rochet for at the CrossFit Games. CrossFit® - (www.crossfit.com/)
“If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.” -Henry Ford Don, please protect the brand and create media at scale around the L1, the methodology and the stories happening in the Affiliates. Don’t fall into the slippery slope of listening to the “people”.
@@manuelgilioli “People” is in quotations for a reason. Although, without true understanding of what I wrote. One would definitely think exactly what you wrote. So I don’t disagree with your statement only encourage you to keep thinking about mine.
I love this interview. I went on LinkedIn to see his profile. Having graduated from Computer and Systems Engineering, to getting his MBA and working with Google, Pinterest and Facebook, and someone who is loyal to CrossFit and the sport, I see him as an inspiration and I'm so excited for him to lead the company and the sport to unfold new opportunities and nurture and develop CrossFit.
Thank you so much! Wow! He understands the world needs CrossFit now, knows the impact of Covid, the global wellness issues, the important community/team element of Crossfit, and that CrosaFit is the greatest sport that everyone can practice and be part of across the globe. As a fan for years, I am so excited for the future of the sport under his leadership.
One of his younger brothers was a mentor of mine while at Purdue. When you a have a Faul leading you, you get someone that is genuine, humble, intelligent, quick to listen/slow to speak, and compassionate. I'm a nobody, but I'm going to venture a guess and say CrossFit is in great hands. Can't wait to see what happens at CrossFit with Don at the helm! Oh, and thanks for looking out for me, Ryan!
Seems he is a good guy but I think a CEO must know what to do, not try to be a crowdpleaser. The methodology is already created and implemented by Greg Glassman, so what's the big deal, the fees? Also too much use of trendy fancy words like "ecosystem"
So, I’m lost, what happened to Eric? Hoping Don will eliminate handstand everything because handstand events have NOTHING to do with fitness. CrossFit cannot be mainstream until the weirdo events are eliminated. I love CrossFit, but the Games choose to showcase stuff not happening at regular boxes. And then of course everyone laughs when you say you do CrossFit. Priority #1 should be to remove the barriers preventing CrossFit from being a mainstream sport. For example, handstand walking and bouncing your head on the ground for handstand push-ups.
Y’all needa grow up, a former service member such as Don alone doesn’t need to speak or need the approval of Sevan. We saw previously how a former service member(Dave Castro) left his impact and without a doubt this position of CEO and CrossFit as a whole is in good hands. #semperfi #respect
