So how was it interviewing this man? He seems so down to earth No rock star attitude at all We need more guys like him in the metal front for the enviroment !
Hi :) it was awesome to interview Joe - such a nice and welcoming guy! Hopefully we'll get to do a face to face interview with him and the rest of the band in the future :) Anyway, hope you liked the interview and thank you for watching :) Elena
@@emponline Yes! This interview is by far one of the most enjoyable ones for me after watching about a dozen of others. Something about the genuine shared love of both of you for the world, it's beautiful to watch/listen to. Joe could *really* get some things off his chest I felt like, haha, and you did an amazing job with that! Just wanted to let you know.
I would absolutely love it if he answered the "guilty pleasure music/secret listening" question with an unexpected response in the ridiculous vein of say . . . Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Blake Sheldon, Garth Brooks, or even Phish, Grateful Dead, etc. Hilarious! Many influential and well respected musicians are actually passionate about a wide variety of styles and sounds, finding inspiration or even just hedonistic pleasure from unexpected or ironic sources. Like so many things which bring us joy and indulgent excitement, healthy or unhealthy, we can't always control or avoid appreciating what catches our attention and moves us. I really admire & connect with Joe's attitude and approach to communicating personal beliefs, responsibility and desire to make a difference with his voice and status as a successful artist. Especially in a time when so many bad social actors are further complicating or dividing us and the culture, disingenuous & pretentious individuals only pandering toward what's in fashion without any self awareness or humility . . . but I DO NOT get that sense from him at all, as genuine humility, honesty and authenticity go so much further and are far more impressive traits, in my opinion, and he seems to be a great example of that, which isn't too surprising as Gojira's music, atmosphere & intention just speaks for itself. Thank you and I really do hope to see you live in the near future.
The part where they start to answer audience questions, she asks joe “what keeps you going” and Joe is like “I saw ‘what’s your favorite death song’, that’s a harder one”🤣
I was thrust into a side stage at Download to see Gojira without knowing much about them. I now have to have some Gojira everyday. I think that's called addiction...fantastic
If you want to contribute right away and help the earth, you can start at home. Like do not buying new things, get used one instead, like a computer, and car. If you want your own house get an old one and fix it instead of building a new one. Same goes with musical instrument, buy used or buy new instrument that do not used rare hardwood that often came from the South America and Africa. Buy, or even better, barter local. And then there is the question of money. I would never support Sea Shepherd anymore, this after Paul Watson talking about that perhaps he should get money from Canada instead of Omar Khadr whom got 10 millions for his ordeal, torture and violation of his basic human right. Sorry no can do. Sorry no link but easy to find. About veganism, I try it not long ago, it's ok. But then if you cooking a lots with food recipes from all over the globe, it is hard to stay away from the basic, chicken and egg thing. It's a flavor in the food that can't be imitated often. Also you can argue that what is the veganism benefit for the earth when you buy pre-packaged or simply raw food that are monocultuvated or monocropping, does not make any sense then. think man! I'll say, think!
That's okay, but when you're finally old age, and you're losing your memory because the parasites that come with eating meat have finally made it into your brain and you develop alzheimers remember this comment, if you can.
Pork worms, they make it into your brain at old age and start to literally eat your brain causing memory loss. You ever work in the medical field? What makes you think I am even vegan? Go eat some bacon.
