After seeing the behind the scenes for The Last of Us I really developed a man crush for Troy Baker. That guy is awesome, and I love his style, that's the kind of look I wanna go for.
+FAKLANAKOS So, they're all voice-acting legends, and handsome, likable guys... Which one do you think hooked up with her right after this interview? :'D
They needed one of those Lavalier microphones that clips onto your shirt. This interview felt kinda awkward at the beginning because of the fact that there's only one microphone.
For the love of god, why do interviewers insist on using one dynamic mic for multiple people. These mics are literally designed to hear nothing but what is within two feet of them.
What these guys are doing for video games is so important. They are some of the first real actors for video games where people will play a game because they are in it and with there help video games are closer than ever to reaching the level of movies and music.
I have wanted to be an actor for a couple of years now but as I have learnt more about voice acting (mo-cap suit etc.) I have thought about doing it too. It seems interesting and it would be fun to work with these guys.
This is awesome for me as a Destiny Fan, even though it has nothing to do with Destiny, but Nolan North is going to be one of the main roles in Destiny, replacing Peter Dinklage. John is the Gunsmith-44 and Troy may not be in the game, but he is wearing a Destiny Bracelet that I also own :D
Let's see, in terms of Japanese game roles I know of each VA: Troy Baker: I know him best as Kanji Tatsumi Nolan North: I didn't play Resonance of Fate but I did use Maasad Mayfield in Valkyria Chronicles John Dimaggio: Definitely as Wakka
FF18Cloud Hahah :) I feel the same way whenever someone just mentions Troy Baker, I start listing every game he is in and how much of an inspiration he is etc. I turn in to such a fanboy. And dammit im proud of it!
Lotion Atv lol, I get what you mean... Though, I do it in a different way. Like, I get chills watching Indie Game the Movie that, I've spent over 60+ hours watching the film... Okay, now I sound crazy
What was John excited but forbidden to say? Was it Shadow of Mordor? Cuz I never knew of any other games with all three of them nor did I know that was a motion capture game (if it even was lol)
