Dan, to answer your question, yes we love the interview with Juan, the AME show, the interview with students in the mining industry, and knowing that you took the time out to speak to high school students about our industry. Juan and Freddy have always seemed to be genuine people. I love watching their show Mine Rescue. Tons to learn from the two. I just wish the show would have more episodes per season.

agree but considering their timelines and traveling i'm surprised they're able to get as many episodes per season that they do. need more mines in the warmer climate areas to apply so they can record more episodes when the northern mines freeze out. probably the only way we'll get more episodes per season.

Thank you so much for sharing this mining conference, Dan! Look at all the people and exhibits! How can a person see them all? I can't even pick a 'favorite' out of this video as it was all exciting. The students' faces said it all. They had a spiritual connection to everything there while deepening their knowledge base. When you were interviewing Juan, he asked you about your most memorable find at your claims. You told him about the ground sluice you found buried beneath the gravels/rocks, which had been there a very long time. Dan, that was the very FIRST VIDEO I watched on RU-vid and YOU were my FIRST SUBSCRIPTION. I couldn't get enough of the knowledge you had! So, that is the most memorable find for me as well. Freddy & Juan are very good prospectors/miners, they know how to find gold which is important. BUT they are also field mechanics, excellent welders & just a wealth of knowledge. They know how to run a mine but also how to repair stuff that breaks down or just needs a tweak. If we could all learn how to fix things like they do then we would be able to cut down time. Great guys, it would be so good to meet them. Great video Dan Hurd.

I have to say after watching this channel for quite a few years, so I would really love to try gold panning just once and get a little bit of gold on my own. I don’t even care if it’s just a couple of fly poops. I think that would be pretty neat. More so though would be to go someplace where I could look for gems and rare minerals to collect for my gem collection. Wish I knew of a place in Eastern Pennsylvania where I could go to find something interesting. Used to live near Garnet mine in upstate New York but I was never able to get there, it’s a real great hobby. A lot of fun learned it from my grandmother. She started me off on my gym collection. We used to go to rock shops all the time over the years my collections gotten pretty small and I’d like to build it up again but the gold pan somewheremaybe while I’ve got a line in the water looking for some trout would be amazing. Find the money I killed to go up to the Fraser River someplace and Canada up north to get some giant rookies and try my hand at panning.

Great interview Dan. I have one foot in the grave and will never be able to do any of this stuff, but love watching Dan and the guys he connects with. At least these guys help me keep my mind busy and seeing the dream. Between Dan, Jason from MBMM, and Vogus down under I get my fix of the outdoors and never miss an episode. Also a lot of others but these three are my main guys.

i think ANY operation that is doing gold recovery should apply to have these guys come ...any mine would profit from it in some way , simply cus a couple sets of expert eyes is always a good thing :)
