We caught up with friend of the show Kirby Dach to talk about the season in Chicago, his trade to Montreal, and what he's most looking forward to with the Habs.
Welcome to Montreal Kirby. Been a fan ever since you played for Canada in the U18 WC. You need know only one thing about Habs fans; it’s that we appreciate effort. Sure, we love it when you put up points but a guy like Lekhonen was a fan favorite here; he didn’t necessarily fill the net but one could tell he was putting in the effort every night, getting grade A scoring chances and being responsible on defence. I’m sure that if you give it all you’ve got, Montreal is going to love you.
Hawks fan here and I’m kinda surprised by the positivity of getting Dach. I’m honestly perplexed but only wish the best for him in Montreal. Good luck Kirby!
think he just had a bad run in chicago, injury first year and then the whole team was awful last year. He’s got great potential so hopefully a change of scenery with the other young guns in montreal will do him some good! Hopefully chicago can turn things around too
Kirby if you ever read this... From Montréal... I am as many in Montréal extremely existed to have youy on board... and take it easy... I have no expectation... take your time... 21 is so so so young... let the wind of the fans flow into your new sweater... what we call la sainte flanelle... take your time to live and be happy and you will be a better player... and if possible just learn and say just a couple of words in french... you dont know how much this will be appreciated... trust me...
Welcome to Montreal Kirby...We are very excited to land a big strong centerman!!! Just give it your best each game ...and you'll be fine.!! All the Best.!!😁👍
18:18, wait what? lol. Hes going to a team thats built to win....where did that come from? He is coming to the Canadiens who are in full on rebuild mode. Yes we have Price, but only because his contract is pretty much immovable. We are going to be a bottom 8 team this year, and that is best case scenario. Now that being said, the future looks bright, and hopefully can get back to the playoffs in 3yrs. Offense seems decent, but the defense will be weak at best.
@@andrepepin9792 that would be cool, but im a lot more pessimistic i guess, lol. Im just hoping one of your defensemen can become a solid #2 in the league, and a couple more top 4s
What - the Canadiens are a team that is built to win NOW? Are you kidding? Dude you might want to get with the program - Habs in the middle of a major rebuild - why did they draft 1st overall in 2022 Entry Draft - it wasn't because they are a team ready to make a playoff bid, let alone a Cup run
John, stop talking about you JC...LOL. Learn your facts before you go in interviews, how do you not know Caufield is #22? lol. I give this show a rating of 2 on 5...Goddamnit John tv isnt for you lol
