For the bespoke lovers out there, Chad Park from B&Tailor needs no introduction. However, if you aren't familiar with B&Tailor, I interviewed him here in Beijing at the last trunk show we hosted with them.
B&Tailor is a bespoke house in Korea with over 50 years of experience, passed on from one generation to the next, the traditional, old school way. I can appreciate that. Over the past decade or two, Chad and his brother Changjin reinvigorated the B&Tailor image, making it known for their strong shoulder and slimming silhouette. Their suit cut is unmistakable.
I met Chad in 2016 on one of my many trips to Seoul and commissioned a bespoke suit with them. On subsequent trips, I visited and did my fittings and we build a relationship. Soon after, I invited them to come to Beijing for trunk shows and they have been coming regularly, once a quarter, except during covid times.
The motto work hard play hard is something I feel resonates with these guys. It's been a joy and a pleasure working with them and we're always excited for the next trunk show here in Beijing.
