I started detailing as a hobby in my late 40s, just a couple years ago. I remember thinking right away, where are the ergonomic videos? How come no one is talking about this? I'm so glad you two are talking about it and I really hope Levi Gates is able to pursue bringing orthopedics into the industry. I thought it'd be cool to have a physical therapist develop a series of stretching and strength building exercises geared toward detailers.
Amber that’s a great idea! I have asked my Orthopedist for a number of these stretches too!! Everyone should learn them! Current tools I use and endorse or helped design,Mechanix Anti Vib gloves, our TRC brushes, Detail Factory CurveBall brush, Detail Factory Brushes, TRC Pearl Puck and of course the Ultra Black Sponge!
A fantastic video guys, it was great meeting Levi back in 2013. Reading Safety data sheets and knowing what the ingredients are in the formula to do and which are good, not so good for our health and how they effect performance is very important and needs to be what detailers do, know what your working with. It's something that my go to guru who is a chemical company director taught me along with chemistry knowledge from 2010 till today. There are many manufacturers making great products that the usa and other countries outside of Europe may not know of. Pai cristal Italy, sparky power tools in Bulgaria who have a heap of polishers and sanders including some big powerful ones and interesting ones. There's a big world of stuff not yet globally known
Great interview, life experience is the only thing that can't be taught and only accumulated. The process of learning can be speeded up but I love who you guys have got to the same point that once you've hit a certain level in an industry you look and reflect differently. The more I know the harder it gets but the more simple you like it to be.

i would REALLY ❤ to find out from Levi, why Bilt Hamber haven't made it to TRC? was it just branding? as i agree, the old branding was ugly, but i don't care about branding (even though i bougtht bottles from Stjarnagloss). they have their own lab, they manufacture in UK, the products work for me and in UK they are quite cheap. thanks
Beadmaker always streaks, always hazes on every vehicle I have used... what's the deal with this guys ???? Products like CarPro reload will never do this.
Where do you live? Humidity plays a major issue with Beadmaker. Here in Idaho I dont have any issues, but I know many who have issues are in high humidity areas.
