Just to note- always take off ALL metal rings and watches. Ivan is a G, but I have personally witnessed a detailer prepping a Ford GT at Barrett Jackson have his towel get caught on something and his hand over compensated which lead to a huge scraaaaaatch…
Appreciate you Yvan! Especially your lecture points regarding the halo-product lesson and the largely untapped tractor market. Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸🗽🎆🎇
At first I thought "what do you mean, you're not going to show me" when I skimmed the chapter previews. Then I listened, and this was actually a really good video. Thanks for not feeling compelled to mix in a bunch of dumb sound effects and unnecessary transitions, etc. - and for staying on-point, just presenting useful information. This is legit quality content. :D
It’s a head scratcher to me how one can do an entire car in 30 minutes when just getting the dirt out from the spokes in the wheels takes that long…not even talking about the barrels… if you have a video that tackles tires / wheel wells and wheels with lots of spokes that you can knock out in less than 30 minutes I will definitely like and comment! Thanks for sharing!
Hey Yvan. Would you say its a waste of time to clean the client's fuel cap when doing a WCC? I'm not sure how picky clients are that pay a lot of money to have their car detailed?
Hi Yvan! When you say $100 000 per year, do you mean net profit of that much per year? As in that is the amount that you personally withdraw into your pocket?
Today I applied C6 Hydro to my Tesla, and all I have to say is. Bud, this should have taken me 2 days to do like the last time when I bought the car new. It took 6 hours by myself from start to finish. Pretreat, wash, Decon, dry, polish, IPA, APP, then C6 Applied. This is the most slickest Ceramic Coating I have ever seen. Tonight the Interior when it cools down. Can’t wait to see what the industrial application will do. And Yvan, To Date you have the hottest Ceramic Coating on the market to date. Don’t change a thing, just keep it up. You have a Client for life.
Quando vedi gli altri lucidare sembra che chissà cosa stanno facendo, mentre tu in tutto quello che spieghi sei sempre molto semplice e diretto, complimenti davvero
Yeah. In a way, I was let go as shop lead because my GM didn't want to raise our prices for exteriors. He's gonna go back to waxing cars with dirt still on them. The shops days have to be numbered at this point. Yvan, if it was any possibility, I'd come work for you, but I don't live anywhere near your location.
Hi i was just wondering what would be the best way to get lime stone of a car. In northland new Zealand we have a lot of gravel roads would this be a problem? would it take any more time? Also can you ceramic over stone chips or fill them with touch up paint then ceramic over the top thanks for the help
@@Detailers-Business-Academy thanks. What business would you start between the detailing or tractor coatings I only have $30 000 But I can borrow more. Could I set it up so I don't have to be there all the time. I have 8 weeks spear to set it up starting 1st June before calfing. I'm a dairy farmer but did panels beating painting when I left school thanks I appreciate the answers thanks

Off topic here: interesting that you pronounce your surname ‘La Croy’ as in France where the name originates, it’s pronounced ‘La Qwah’. How do I know this? My sister had a French boyfriend back in the day with the exact same name 😅
I just love your videos, they always put a smile on my face 🙂. Not only do you impart plenty of vital information and advice, but you have a wonderful dry sense of humour which reduces apprehension for a novice rotary pilot.
Hi Yvan, how would you complete this process with an extremely dirty car? Would you still opt for a rineseless process or stick to a traditional snowfoam/2 bucket wash method?
