We are glad to share an interview with Linda Mutawi, Founder & Producer at Fikra, speaking on the role of art and culture in fostering empathy and understanding between people. She highlights the use of films as a tool to humanize the stories of others. As an example of the power of storytelling she mentions in humanizing Tarek Saleh’s film ‘Nile Hilton Incident’ that humanizes a historical moment and thereby create a better understanding of a period in history.
