I watched switched at birth. Sean Berdy was a fine choice for his role and Ryan Lane did a fine job with his role as it shifted throughout the series. I realize you can’t have too many main characters, but I was always waiting and looking forward to Daniel’s role to be brought forward as he was also doing a fine job of acting. So I was happy to see you, Marlee, recognize his ability in switched at birth also during this interview. I am looking forward to seeing this movie.
I cannot wait for this movie to turn out to be I totally agree with close caption is very frustrated with any theater you enter. I’m super excited for this movie. 🤩. Looking forward for your making future movie keep up with good work to all actors in CODA. Deaf proud 🙌.
Loved the movie! My wife is Deaf, I’m hearing and we have two adult sons who can hear. Your movie touched us. We’re hoping your success with CODA will impact Hollywood in positive ways and create more opportunities for actors who are Deaf. BTW, my dissertation was on little CODAs and how they developed ASL and spoken English.
Champion movie wow! Similar with my family. My oldest daughter loves singing with her beautiful voice. Irony is that my hubby and me love singing in beautiful ASL expressions. Keep up for more Deaf people to be involve the movies etc. Two Thumbs Up!!!
A heartwarming movie. I like Marlee Matlin since Beverly Hills 90210. She's right - a deaf person is not a costume. It's so great that there is a burn-in caption.
Hi all of you… I appreciate for the future equal access of having deaf culture in every aspect… Don’t forget that it goes back to another era of having films and tv films that were a part of long process that brings to CODA… For instance, Hallmark Hall of Fame/NBC’s Love is Never Silent was focusing of deaf parents with their hearing daughter and son in 1985 and again 1986. It won an Emmy Award for the best picture of the year in 1986. So with CODA, bravo for being a part of process and more to come to have deaf culture as a part of Hollywood mainstream…
I want to know about Apple TV. Does anyone know what time in Denver? Me and my roommate check Apple TV on our TV and it didn't say what time. Just said 1 hour 54 minutes. Please help. Thanks
The public advertising in tv or RU-vid, any ads still don't show enough movies like that. Still oppressed. And I love in a small town and it'll show up later not on that day.
