Tim..thank you from my heart for this video with Andrew he was trully wonderful speaking about John Britten. John was a wonderful man with passion for his profession.❤
What a phenomenal person and so many extraordinary experiences in your life and yet such a humble person. One of our great New Zealand Sportsmen. All the best...
I met Andrew Stroud at Pukekohe raceway about 14 years ago . Kevin Swantz was there and Andrew rode the BRITTEN. What a gentleman and a fantastic rider. I chatted to him and still have a signed poster of him. Ps I live in South Africa and was in NZ on holiday.
i dont mean to be off topic but does someone know of a method to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
@Adriel Tucker I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
I have to admit I posted this video many years ago and haven't really looked at this page since. It's great to have all your feedback on the video and it's so good to see how much some of you really appreciate it. It was a privilege to meet Andrew and spend the time with him (along with the force of nature that is John Shand who conducted the interview), as well as learning so much about John Britten. All the best, Tim
What a wonderful example of a Kiwi Gentleman & Worlld & N.Z Champion so humble, honest, from the heart healthy. Oh, and Champion Dad! Nice work Mr/Mrs Stroud & N.Z
Awesome vid Should be standard watching at NZ primary/intermediate schools. So many inspirational kiwis hail from motorsport. Most haven't even heard of Denny Hulme , much less Mr Britton. Thanks for sharing 🙏
I was at the races at Seaview, Petone sometime in the early 1980s. There was a young rider in the production 250 races who was obviously fast and SO smooth. That was Andrew Stroud.
oh yes Andrew famously so, Christian that is. John not so which is why Andrew was a little taken aback when John asked him to read some bible passages upon his sick bed. Of course being a most intelligent man he would never discount the unknowable..i guess, and only really fully embraced the holy word at the end with the help of his great friends..i believe
