Interview with Rev. Dr. Della Reese Lett 

I liked Della Reese in The Royal Family. It was short lived because of the death of Redd Foxx, but I liked it. I also liked her in a Christmas movie called "The kid who loved Christmas". It starred Sammy Davis, Esther Rolle, Cicely Tyson and Michael Warren. I actually remember watching them filming the movie right here in Chicago. A life well lived... Rest in peace and power.

I have to say, Thank you Millenia Gay for this wonderful interview.... I have revisited this many times and always find inspiration jumping out at me.... I loved Della Reese sing, she inspired me as a child to sing in Church myself.... Loved her many movies and shows, especially "Touched By An Angel" never missed it as it was a family favourite.... REST IN ETERNAL PEACE DELLA REESE.... YOU ARE INDEED AN ANGEL NOW, MISSED, REMEMBERED AND LOVED ALWAYS... 💔 💔

Della Reese i knew her has "touch of Angel" she was now to know she was a spiritual mama, whitch i learn she never left me, but i didnt know she past so now has a senior i am watching & hearing her i have learn to from our Lord God in spirit, yes i was a slow Learn & others so i was a miracle baby and got to see her on T.V. movies & "touch of Angel" 🎉

I am British and in my Youth , Della is my favourite singer of her generation but I had never seen her as a whole rounded person , in fact I had never heard her speak but I have learned so much from just listening to her . She is an interlectua Lady and sadly I now found out that she is no longer with us. RIP Great Lady and may you be blessed Always and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
